Can't argue with you there. In the first two Metal Gear games, he topples COUNTRIES. Metal Gear: Solid was great, just too many codec conversations that would have gotten anyone killed. Sons of Liberty just sucked, having to play as Raidipussy all that time made me want to wretch :P

Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll know...tomorrow."

Heh, just then I thought you meant The Matrix. I love Where Eagles Dare, the whole dining hall explanation Richard Burton gives is brilliant.

"Why, that plan is brilliant!"
"Yes, but to an Englishman, very, very simple." :D

Solid Snake is also more a spec-ops one-man-army than a spy, FOX-HOUND are the equivalent of the SAS or Rainbow.

And kudos to those that remember DM a.k.a. Danger Mouse. 8)

We all know Penfold was the true mastermind though.

If the Spy Kids got on the list, the dogs from "Cats and Dogs" belong there, too.

I was always compared to either Encyclopedia Brown or The Great Mouse Detective.

No, they are two completely different shows which just happen to have Patrick McGoohan in. Secret Agent Man (known as Dangerman in the US) was made after The Prisoner, arguably the best and most fucked up (bar NGE) cult sci-fi series ever.
Heh heh... Yes and no. Danger Man was created by Ralph Smart for ITC in 1964 and thus owns the rights to the character. And although Patrick McGoohan and George Markstein could not include any links to McGoohan's previous character so as not to have to pay Ralph Smart royalties, sly references to Drake as Number Six are slipped into "The Girl Who Was Death" and "Once Upon A Time". Just skirting the edge of the legal envelope.

BTW, "Secret Agent Man" was the name of the main title theme to the series, and Secret Agent was the American title which conformed to the song lyric.

Secret... Agent Man, Secret... Agent Man. They've given you a number, and taken 'way your name.

Ahh, think I recall a Prisoner fan site saying something like that but I brushed over it. The Secret Agent Man theme plays in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery too.

If we have to include every fictional spy, why not..... (the horror of horrors) the abominable Inspector Gadget!!

Hmm, more of a cop than spy, dontcha think? Plus he is quite bumbling, Penny and Brain are the true heroes, Gadget is the comic relief. :D

I kinda liked the main caracter from Teen Agent. Ok he wasn't a spy per say but it was a funny movie.
