You wake up in the village

Post by FaxModem1 »

Lets say you are knocked out by gas in your apartment/house and you wake up in that room, and you find yourself in the village. How do yo respond?

I'd make one of those big plastic bubbles (a la The Simpsons and The Avengers movie), and I'd escape across the water. It'd be awesome.
And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

A few weeks ago I would have no clue as to what you're talking about. Fortunately, I 've managed to catch a Prisoner episode on Ch. 13 (of all places!).

As for what I'd do, I'd resist them ,and look for ways to escape. Or, perhaps, give them misinformation and make them leave me alone.

Have a very nice day.

for those who don't know what the devil I am referring to, I am talking about the cult classic The Prisoner which was made in the 1960s, and starred Patrick Mcgoohan. A little weird, but great.

fgalkin, do you live near the metroplex? cause PBS is channel 13 here too.

Activate my hidding tracking device implanted by my own agents (thats dormant unless activated) then let my uber-security forces liberate me.

Well, I'm in the village for a reason aren't I?

I'd do that but leave a survivor to tell me the way out....or just take a hostage....

If I was in the Village, I would remember number 2 what making number 2 is daily. I would probably be the first person through out of the Village.

Given the sheer cooleness of Rover, I doubt much killing would occur.

Plus you're still on an island in the middle of nowhere (ven though I've been to Portmeirion. :P ).

A "Degree Absolute" is probably something that's not very nice. Probably something like being locked in a room with a horny Anna Nicole. Not when she was aleast ok looking. The way she looks now, like some ugly big slut.

Mind fuck. Totally, basically it involves you being sealed in a room with Number 2 and his accomplice midget dude for a week as he basically rebuilds your memory and redefines your view on life. Sort of like mind reading only now.

How? You'd wake up with no weapons or anything plus you don't have the foggiest where you are.

And anyway, Rover can take nukes it seems so bring it on. 8)

Hmm, Rover Vs. Boba/Jango Fett...

So what? IG-88 managed to slaughter ten people in less than twenty seconds, weaponless. Then, wait until night, look at the stars, and you can determine where you are.

More detailed description, please.

Rover is a big white bubble able to engulf men whole and simply hold them. Once it catches up to a target it pounces and covers them all like a white blood cell gone mad. When you're caught you are unable to escape and probably paralysed in the process.

It has been said it can easily take nuclear strikes it would seem.

Plus it's cute. :D
