Hmmmm...only thing I'd change is to make the cloak flowing in the breeze. Other than that, very nice.

I still think the Crimson Guardsmen are more fearsome because they're soooo cloaked.

This makes a good transitional concept though.

For some reason, I don't think the angular helmet really goes with the rest of the flowing cloak...

Yeah...the Imperial armor is a direct offshoot of the Chancellor's bodyguard, rather than getting influenced by stormtrooper/clonetrooper development.

Still, it KICKS ASS....

Eh...think of it as a specialty branch of the Royal Guard. Besides. The design is KICKASS and Bloodguard sounds cool.

This looks like something that SW Tales needs to incorperate in one of their future stories.

How could they incorporate it if the IRGs seen in RotJ are already the original IRG seen in AotC?

I told you, specialty guards.

Plus their RPG is out-of-canon. Resurgent Empire, just like Mike's fic. Whoever sits in Palpy's throne now can make them however he wants.

The point is that the clonetrooper armor is made for different reasons than the IRG armor, so it must have been designed differently and have different features. I'd think that the IRG armor is more efficient than clonetrooper armor simply for the reason that IRG armor was designed to be worn by the Emperor's guards and not soldiers. So why would they even have clonetrooper IRGs if their armor is completely different?
