Today shock awaited the parents of kids who study in one of the most elite schools of Ukraine, "Pechersk School International". The school, where children of Ukrainian political elite, including the son of President Yushenko, is located just in the center of Kiev.
A journalist investigation was shocked by a simple homework - ukrainian kids were told to find 68 reasons to defend Adolf Hitler. To better feel the "spirit", they were told to use Nazi greetings at school.
Another shock is the Nazi symbolic exposition devoted to Hitler. According to investigation, parents of children who object to such "customs" are threatened with expulsion.

13:53 investigation update - our correspondents managed to find out that kids who don't want to come into the class which is full of Hitler posters, are disciplined by teachers. A schoolkid by the name of Linna told: "In my age children died in Hitler's gas chambers but they were brave. I won't come into this class even if they put me out of school".
The correspondent of Mignews managed to speak to one of the teachers, who hastily retorted that the school was "misunderstood", that the teachers jjust wanted to show the schoolkids how a bad man becomes democratically elected. However, the teacher could not provide any reasons for the Hitler-whitewashing tasks given to schoolkids, and the Nazi greetings used after the lection.
15:11 investigation update - our correspondent managed to talk to one of the teachers. He explained: "The school's management considers this action very useful. During two weeks schoolkids are explained all the advantages of Hitler, the national-socialist system and fascism in general. But after that we explain how bad it is, and they receive a strong lifetime antidote against fascism!"
However a prominent ukrainian businessman Garik Kogorodsky, whose son is a student, said in an interview to our correspondent that this is a complete change of terminology: "I'm proud my son didn't want to go into a class full of fascist symbolic. I think it's very easy to sow doubt in a child, easy to tell him fascism is good, but reversing it back might not be quite sucessful. I'm outraged and I protest against what is going on in the school!"
The correspondent carried on the investigations. He reported that the shool was quickly locked up like a military facilty and no one was allowed inside. However, the managed to speak with several school children. Some of them thought Hitler was good, some say that they remember in the movies Hitler is bad.

17:53 update - during the investigation of the "Pechersk School International", the MIGnews correspondent contacted the Ukraine Commitee for Security (SBU). The vice-director of SBU Press Center called the actions of the school "idiotism" and reported that superiors at SBU are informed. He said that he would report about the measures taken by the organization later.
Honestly, I think there's a good reason "Ewige Jude" is banned from German schools (IIRC).
