The Galactic Empire invades DBZ Earth
Palpatine finds a rift in time and space and he finds a planet much like Alderaan. He sends a fleet through to this planet, Earth, to conquer it. He and the Empire must face the Z Fighters. This battle takes place ten months after Majin Buu is killed. Palpatine and all of his dark siders are involved in this fight.

Scene: Fat Buu walking down the street, carrying fistfuls of cash to buy some ice cream.
Suddenly, a black-cloaked figure appears in front of him. It pulls out a lightsaber and slashes it through Buu a dozen times in a second.
Buu, apparently not understanding what happens, splits into a great many smooth-edged pieces. The cloaked figure gives a dismissive grunt and turns to find another victim.
Not hearing the Buu chunks fall to the ground stops the figure. He turns to see Buu still maintaining a vague Buu-like shape for a few seconds before he puts himself back together. Looking quizically at the figure, he asks, "What you do to Buu?"
The cloaked figure unleashes blue lightning from his fingertips, causing Buu to fall to the ground, hands around his stomach. Buu giggles until the figure lets up.
"That was fun," Buu says. "My turn!"
Buu attempts to tickle the cloaked figure with a copycat force lightning, which ends up turning the figure into a brittle cinder.
Meanwhile, Gotenks demonstrates some of his techniques for a spellbound crowd on a group of Dark Jedi. Vegeta just rolls his eyes at his opponent and vaporizes it without even powering up.
This is about as lopsided as pitting the Culture against the Empire.

Vegeta at 18,000 already has enough power to destroy a planet.
For those DBZ haters who claim that just because Vegeta said he could, made good on his threat, and the most expirienced fighter on the Earth's side beleived him and elected to take his blast head-on instead of dodge it like he easly could have, Freiza destroyed the planet and he did it quickly. Form ONE Freiza. Form two is twice as powerful.
For people moving faster than Kaiou can track, when Kaiou can track ships moving at FTL speeds, all those Turbolaser bolts trying to BDZ a planet will be arcing in seemingly slow motion. Agonizingly slow. The kids an go around and swat them out of the sky one by one, and think it will be grand fun.
Sending swarms of small ships to overwhelm the defenses? Meet Buu and a modified version of his Human Genocide attack, renamed the "Imperial Genocide Attack"
As for the high and mighty Death Star, it's not even going to get the chance to fire before Android 18 smashes it into enough spare parts for a decade.
Sith? Well unless they can destroy an entire galaxy, then they are just too weak. Unless then can move faster than photons, they are just too slow.
Bottom line? Unless anything has the power to blast the solar system into bits AND move several times faster than light, it is a non-factor to the Z fighters.

I am capable of rearranging the fundamental building blocks of the universe in under six seconds. I shelve physics texts under "Fiction" in my personal library! I am grasping the reigns of the universe's carriage, and every morning get up and shout "Giddy up, boy!" You may never grasp the complexities of what I do, but at least have the courtesy to feign something other than slack-jawed oblivion in my presence. I, sir, am a wizard, and I break more natural laws before breakfast than of which you are even aware!

If the Sun crusher can fire faster than FTL, and is somehow immune to the constant mental scanning of Piccolo, Dende, and (to a certain extent) Buu and Son Goku, then it might be a possibility. Otherwise, nope.beyond hope wrote:How about quietly slipping the sun crusher into the planetary system?
(BTW if anyone wishes to make an assertion that neither Piccolo, Dende, Buu, or Son Goku can detect it, they better have a good reason why.)

The DBZ guys win easily, after charging up for seventeen episodes, during which the Empire simply sits around and gawks at them.
Then a more powerful enemy from the SW universe appears, the DBZ guys have to train, then they charge up for seventeen episodes, and defeat them.
Rinse and repeat, replace "enemy from the SW universe" with DBZ villian name, and you have the basis for the entire series.

Unless of course its just Kid Buu(Who was just fucking VISCOUS)
Fat Buu would be funnier
Sir! a Pink Marshmellowish object is apporching the fleet at high speeds!
? Shot it down
BANG
*Bolt hits FB burns whole through him he simpy reforms
That thing make Buu mad! Buu MAKE YOU CANDY!
Buu spends the next two years eating the Giant Candy Star Destroy Fleet the end
Yes DBZ warriors simply can't take the Z Fighers, Escpilly Buu and Frieeza(Both of which don't have to breath)
Kid Buu would ass-rape the SW galaxy so much its not even funny

*Ahem* Kame-sennin at 139 had enough power to destroy the moon. Given the basic SSJ1 power level of roughly 15,000,000, I'd say the Empire's in trouble. By the time the end of DBZ rolls around, Goku alone could probably take on the Emperor's fleet at Endor alone.Yogi wrote:Vegeta at 18,000 already has enough power to destroy a planet.

It's true. The people in DBZ are so powerful that it's rather difficult to compare them to other cartoons (especially if one goes for the exponential theory of power growth, which just yields ungodly results) The only real flaw about DBZ is that most of the fighters are simply power houses with no real versitality. That's why Buu and Piccolo, while physically not being that strong, factor into so many DBZ versus debates, since they're facing opponents in which Raw Power may not be the deciding factor.
I think last time DBZ lost a fight was against The Culture.

The first time Vegeta showed up, he blew away the planet Arlia without breaking a sweat. Piccolo blew up the moon with after a short powerup time, and a stray blast during Goku's fight with Frieza blew up one of Namek's moons, shortly before the planet itself was destroyed.consequences wrote:The real problem with DBZ is that all of these attacks that the characters think are a major threat do less damage to the surrounding area than a kiloton range nuke. This sort of ruins their credibility for taking planet killers to the face in my eyes.
Wham, bam, thank you ma'am.
