Post by Elfdart »

This scumbag piece of shit has come forward to admit he tortured prisoners:

Given the fact that Dubya and Congress gave this perverted fucktard amnesty, I hope interested citizens of other countries will post his mugshot in as many places as they can. That way, if this Nazi cocksucker should travel abroad, he can be collared, tried and locked up.

Did he actually call it "torture?"

If so, at least he's an honest shitbag, unlike certain politicians and their "it's only torture if we say it is" bullshit.

I didn't watch the video, but the article quotes him as saying he 'declined to use the enhanced interrogation techniques'.
Now retired, Kiriakou, who declined to use the enhanced interrogation techniques, says he has come to believe that water boarding is torture but that perhaps the circumstances warranted it.
In other words, he didn't torture anyone even if he believes that it was warranted.
"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."- General Sir Charles Napier

In the video interview with Brian Ross, he claims that the suspect wasn't talking about anything other than religion in general and wouldn't rat out others (part 3):

Ross: And what in your mind was your way you were going to get him to give that [information] up?

Scumbag: We had a group of folks at the Agency who were trained in what have been reported in the press as "enhanced techniques".

He goes on to say he returned to a new job when the torturers got involved, but that sounds like CYA. The torturers were brought in when he couldn't get information out of a detainee and he knows the results and the other details -including how long the torture lasted- but he personally didn't do it? Yeah right.

Whether he personally poured water down some guy's lungs or was even present, he is still neck deep in the torture of prisoners and is still a total scumbag. I hope his mugshot and name are forwarded to Interpol.

It sounds like he was just interrogting the prisoners, and then was pulled so they could get a torturer in. Does just interrogating the prisoner mean he's a scumbag? What should he have done, quit as soon as they asked him to interrogate someone?

I think you're hating the wrong guy.

Assuming for the sake of argument that he's telling the truth and he didn't water torture anyone, he's still an accomplice. He claims to know all about it, yet he didn't blow the whistle on an obvious war crime. He also thinks it was justified. So in the best possible case for this scumbag, he's still a scumbag. He might be somewhat less vile than the perverts who actually tortured people, but not by much.

This is very similar to the pedophile priest cases. If a member of the church claimed that while he personally didn't take part in molesting children, he knew it was going to happen, knew how long it had gone on, knew the results, but he didn't blow the whistle AND thinks it was justified, what would you call such a person? Sure, he wasn't the one who put his dick in an altar boy, but he's still a lowlife piece of shit.
