The Duke Nukem Forever Teaser Trailer just went online twenty minutes ago.

http://www.3drealms.com/ has the links to different mirrors but the site is flooded right now. Best one I found was:

It's available in HD too! I'm just shocked to discover it actually exists in a workable form.

Is it possible this game might actually come out?

That's not a lot to show for over ten years of work. Generic monsters, a badly-rendered Duke, nothing but three flashes of in-game footage - colour me unimpressed.

Don't get me wrong, the trailer is not particularly impressive, and the first alien especially looks very rough and poorly modelled when the trailer is paused. But the fact that it exists is what shocks me.

not very impressive, but I kinda like it.

I'll always harbor a warm fuzzy spot for 3d Duke Nuk'em's.....Just glad to finally see actual WORK has been done on the fucking game....

We've been through this before twice, we even had a demo back in 2000, do not believe this until it's on store shelves

Edit: though looking at the covers for previous games, his look seems to vary between actually built like Willis with a different head and built like Arnie with a head that bears a resemblance to Willis.

This reminds me of Prey. They also had the game in development from '97 and zero progress was made for almost a decade. Then they used Doom 3 engine and probably made the game ground up in a year. It was a fun enough game although not the second coming they were hyping it up to be. I suspect Duke could have the same fate.

There wasn't a demo, but there was a pretty extensive trailer for E3 2001, back when the game was still on the Quake engine or whatever.
