AVG flags shell32.dll but says no threat found

Post by Feil »

For a couple weeks now, my daily virus scans have turned up this response:

It says that there are no threats, yet it flags shell32.dll and says that it has been changed. But then if I run another scan immediately afterwards, it flags shell32.dll again. Does anyone have an idea what might be the problem, or if there is a problem, and if I should bother trying to fix it?

It did the same with me too. I just ignored it.

AVG Forums have countless threads about that problem and a simple answer to it.
