Each episode in DBZ consists of characters taunting each other, then powering up for minutes, then finally fighting copy & paste style. And during the whole time, they're still taunting each other. Then when one person wins, somebody with a power level much higher shows up and kicks their ass, requiring them to train even more so they can kick the other guy's ass.

It would have to be an exponential power growth. Master Roshi @ power level 139 destroyed the moon. The farmer in the beginning of the Radizt saga was rated @ 5. [139/5=27.8] If you calculate the kinetic energy it takes to destroy the moon using Master Roshi's PL 139 and divide it by 27.8, that is would be stupid. A farmer with a shot gun would not be able to do that much damage. Power levels above 100 would seem to be exponential and those below would be "realistic."Yogi wrote:It's true. The people in DBZ are so powerful that it's rather difficult to compare them to other cartoons (especially if one goes for the exponential theory of power growth, which just yields ungodly results)
