Thinkin' 'bout getting a DS - game recommendations.
So I have some cash as a result of Xmas, and one thing I've been thinking about getting on and off is a Nintendo DS. Since I now have the spare moolah, I thought I'd go take a look at them. The only problem is that I really have no idea what games/accessories to get. I figure there are several DS owners here, so I turn to you: list your top two or three must-have DS games. I'm open to pretty much any genre, so don't be shy.

Plenty fo good recommendations there. You might want to look out for the new Advance Wars that's either just out or about to be released.

In this order:
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Elite Beat Agents
Mario Kart DS
New Super Mario Bros
Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
Metroid Prime: Hunters
Tetris DS
Advance Wars
MegaMan ZX
Super Mario 64 DS
I haven't played Geometry Wars DS, but I liked the E3 demo, and I think it'd put it right around where Tetris DS is on the list.

Cool, thanks for your help. OK, next DS-related topic:
Homebrew. I'm fascinated by DSLinux, so I wonder, are there any DSLinux users here? I've been reading about it, and I'm familiar enough with Linux that I don't think it'll be too much of a problem to get running, but if anyone has any tips, I'd sure appreciate it.

My current top5 of DS game is the following
1. Super Robot Taisen W
2. Phoenix Wright 3
3. Custom Robot Arena MG
4. Contra 4
5.Hotel Dusk Room 215
Phoenix Wright and Room 215 are pretty easy and linear game but they are fun non the less.?
Custom Robot is a real gem, a lot in the Blast Corps/ Dozers spirit on N64
Contra 4 is old school shooter
and SRT W is basically a TRPG with a lot of Banpresto robots put in it.
