Nude couple grapple over dog near shower

Post by Wanderer »

Should we even ask why???
BREMERTON, Wash. - A 25-year-old woman was arrested for investigation of second-degree assault for getting into an argument with her boyfriend over whether his dog should be in the bathroom while the couple were taking a shower together.

A police report said the man, 26, wanted his dog to join them in the bathroom, but the woman objected on Thursday night.

The woman told her boyfriend that if the dog doesn't stay out, she didn't want to be his girlfriend anymore. He replied that maybe his next girlfriend would appreciate the dog more, and called her a name.

The police report said the woman punched him in the face several times and the man dislocated his shoulder after the naked couple grappled. He told police his girlfriend threw a picture frame, which broke and cut him.

The woman was taken to the Kitsap County Jail in Port Orchard. Bail has been set at $50,000.

If he doesn't break up with her after this, he's as much of a loon as her.

Of course, he DID want his dog in the bathroom with them while they were naked, so I doubt that all his beans are in the jar.

:wtf:

I believe that sums up my feelings on this matter. Though the violence was unnecessary.

As I was just hypothesizing to Marina, Bremerton (note: this was also where the crucified Santa was) has the cheapest housing within direct ferry-reach of Seattle. The craziest people, which includes the people who can't get or hold down a decent job, will gravitate here because it's the only place they can afford.

At the same time, though, because the ferry ride to Seattle is free, any truly homeless people will eventually wind up on the ferry and get stuck in Seattle, thus leaving only the barely-making-it poor here.

Also it's a known fact that the constant rain and cloud cover causes more mental disorders, and outside of the Hoh Rain Forest, Bremerton has the highest amount of rainfall pretty much in the whole state.

You're reading more into that than is necessary. Fuzzy used to wander into the bathroom sometimes while we were taking a bath or a shower; it's not that I actually wanted him in there per se; he just wandered in of his own accord, because he often just wanted to be in the same room as me. So if he was sleeping in the bedroom and noticed that we'd left to take a bath or something, he would follow us into the bathroom.

Now this didn't cause any problems because Rebecca didn't particularly care. So what if Fuzzy wanders into the bathroom? And if we locked the door on him, then he might whine and complain outside. But let's suppose she had a real problem with Fuzzy, and said "There's no goddamned way that mutt is coming in here!" I could easily see how this could be a source of friction, especially in a relationship that is obviously not going well to begin with (as was clearly the case in this news story).

Unless the news was wrong on their end, the guy wanted his dog in there. That's a bit different from not minding your dog being in there.

Though perhaps you're right and I am misinterpreting it.

It seemed to me that his dog was there and he didn't want to kick it out and then it escalated from there because they're both stupid. That's how a lot of fights start, over something stupid that no one cares too much about but becomes defensive and emotionally vested into it once they start yelling about it to each other and each person trying to prove themselves right. Personally, if my girl friend wasn't allergic to dogs I would refuse to kick my dog out of my room every time she was over.

Come come, first off: I would think you guys would know that where ever there are people, there're going to be crazy, stupid people.

Secondly, as others have pointed out... It doesn't seem much more than your standard common couple drama over pointless things.
Rule one of Existance: Never, under any circumstances, underestimate stupidity. As it will still find ways to surprise you.

Don't be a retard. The dog has his own free will, and I seriously doubt the owner was trying to force the dog to be in there against his will. Most likely, the dog just wanted in, and he just wanted to let him in. If the dog had no desire whatsoever to be in the bathroom, he'd be off somewhere else in the house and it wouldn't be an issue.
Though perhaps you're right and I am misinterpreting it.
Instead of interpreting the semantics of the article, try thinking the scenario through. Carefully interpreting the semantics of the article assumes that those semantics were perfectly chosen: an absolutely ridiculous assumption at any time.
