There are too many to name. SW is pretty much middle of the road as far as Sci-Fi goes.

No shit. Just cause Wars can kick the living shit out of anything Trek doesn't mean that it is more than an average sci-fi civilization.

So in that case, is Trek near the bottom of the barrel?

And you may ask yourself, 'Where does that highway go to?'

Oh, yeah, SW is very average in terms of power. Only the most rabid Warsies would say otherwise.

Yep, SW resides in the middle as far as power and size are concerned.
Of course it's the feel of that Universe that makes it special, not the power.

The Culture, and many others are more powerful.
But the thing is that out of the great 3, SW is the most powerful, while it actually represents only the average, with Trek and B5 being at the very bottom.

that's because it is difficult to show the true scale of power often displayed in sci-fi books. Just try to show an 80 million ship fleet simultaneously moving to englobe an equivalent force and blowing the crap out of them with blatantly ridiculous firepower onscreen.

If you look at other galaxy spanning civilisations they are in fact pretty shitty.
