I don't know whether to blink slowly and shuffle away or to laugh like a maniac.

Oh, he's got the creepy death-Pikmin, too. It's the laugh option.
According to wikipedia, "the Mohorovičić discontinuity is the boundary between the Earth's crust and the mantle."
According to Starbound, it's a problem solvable with enough combat drugs to turn you into the Incredible Hulk.

hopefully his attacks will be tomorrow's update, I'm curious to see how this works.

Man, I'm so excited for this game.

Hell. Yes.
I was holding out hope for a Pikmin item, and I get a whole playable character. I better be able to stick Pikmin to the other players where they will pummel them mercilessly while I laugh maniacly. Perhaps I can recreate my feat from multiplayer Pikmin 2 where I coated my brother's player with so many of the little buggers that he became utterly incapable of retrieving more of his own Pikmin to fight them off. It was just this Pikmin blob running in circles yelling "Get 'em off me! Get 'em off me!" I was incapacitated with laughter.

Seriously, that's part of Snake's Final Smash. He jumps offscreen, climbs down into the foreground from a ladder, and starts launching grenades at the stage for about 12 shots.

The Updates guy said he was unsure about letting people with unlocked characters play them online with people who hadn't unlocked them because it would ruin the surprise. But he decided that with the internet, everyone online finds out about the unlockable characters early anyways.

So I doubt any of the unlockable characters(Dr. Mario, Falco) will be profiled online.

Captain Falcon, Ganondorf, and Krystal have yet to be mentioned, yet we have pretty strong evidence that the latter two are in the game and it would be just stupid to leave Falcon out.

I think they're eliminating clones though, hence no Ness now that Lucas is in. So that might mean goodbye to Falco. Sonic kind of replaces him.

Today's update: Olimar's moves.

Picking Pikmin, Tossing Pikmin, Pikmin Chains, Ordering Pikmin, Pikmin Gumbo, Pikmin Soup, Pikmin Salad, Pikmin Stew, Pikmin Sandwich... that's 'bout it.

He doesn't look too hot, unless the Pikmin are functionally Nazgoth.

You know, I think that's a really interesting play mechanic right there. If anything, Olimar will be hepas of fun to play with, so long as you don't get punked before you can get some Pikmin up.
What is Project Zohar?

Here's to a certain mostly harmless nutcase.

This makes me curious. His standard B move is picking Pikmin. So Kirby Copies him and gets the ability to pick pikmin. Do the pikmin attack on their own? Or will Kirby's standard attacks get augmented with Pikmin-chucks.

Well, in Pikmin, the Pikmin would engage an enemy on their own if one came into striking distance. This was kind of annoying at times when you wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible.

However, this picture:

Seems to imply that they don't attack on their own.

However, it was also stated in the first Olimar update that:
Without Pikmin, Olimar can’t even do a Smash Attack.
So I'd imagine that the Pikmin will augment Kirby's A attacks in some way.

Todays update includes a little note in the gray text box at the top that the game has been pushed back yet again to March 9th.

I'm going to tackle Reggie if this game isn't out by E3.

It's confirmed. Zelda still transforms into Shiek.

Very nice redesign, apparently from early ideas of having her in Twilight Princess. It seems not to specifically be trying to hide her gender, either.

Damn sneaky, Nintendo.

Those stickers they mentioned before? Apparently, they do more than just look pretty. See for yourself.

Fucking fuck fuck bullshit. I hate shiek with the fury of a thousand burning suns. This makes me extremely unhappy--that unbalanced, unfun, Zelda-destroying piece of shit was totally unnecessary. If this form isn't extremely balanced, I'll be extremely unhappy with it being put back in--before it was extremely tough to fight, and being able to swap between that and Zelda made it a pretty potent combo. Unfun, unfair.

Original BulbaNews article
A preview video of Super Smash Bros. Brawl posted on the official Japanese Wii site has revealed the inclusion of Lucario as a playable character in the game. Jigglypuff was also seen as a returning character.

At 4:20 in the video, the faces of Lucario and Jigglypuff were seen among Pikachu's and Pokémon Trainer's in the lower right corner of the screen as playable characters who can use the powers of selected stickers in the Subspace Emissary adventure mode. In the relevant screenshot, the selected sticker is of Groudon.

It is likely that Lucario, like Jigglypuff in past Smash Bros. games, will be an unlockable character, possibly replacing Mewtwo and/or Pichu, both who were playable in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

The trailer also revealed the inclusion of EarthBound character Ness, who had not yet been confirmed on the official Smash Bros. Web site.

GameFAQs user Edible is being credited with discovering the characters before they were removed.
The video can be found here.
