Yeah. While 40k folks generally have firepower that make modern flak vests look like tissue paper being used on a flame-farting anus.

All your sorcerer or demon has to do is approach the nearest system lord in public, phase some staff bolts through his body, punch the System Lord's head off. And poof, army.
Yeah but that's not stated in his scenario. So the sorcerer would have to wait for a Goa'uld System lord to come to protect his territory first.

though it's like that the system lord would hear about it and assuming he wouldn't just order the to be buried, he'd be a fool to not respond in anyway (your typical Space marine is about 2m tall even without the power armor, so it's easy to conclude they're not your typical humans) and it's also highly likely that the next CMS force you'd get a much larger force lead by a Black Apostle (since they use the stargate to return to their Daemonworld only once, they'd probably start building a warpgate capable of doing so as soon as they return and you'd like security for such instalation).
I may be an idiot, but I'm a tolerated idiot

OK? And? What does this have to do with what I said?

well if you read the OP the CMS left to return in a unspecified date so waiting for who ever is in charge to arrive isn't exactly a forgone conclusion.

I have read the OP and I just don't see the relevancy of your post.
