With a title like that, who needs to watch it, eh?
Don't forget folks, its now on BBC2 (Now that you need reminding after the constant adverts, eh?)

The words 'Don't make me larf' spring to mind. The only reason I happen to be watching is because my mum has a soft sport for the King of The PantomimeBounty wrote:After bailing out after episode two last series, I'm giving this another try. let's see if I can stay with it for more then ten minutes.

No, that looked like a series trailer.EnterpriseSovereign wrote:And that was all supposed to happen next week?Bounty wrote:The trailer looks atrocious. "It's the end of the world. Let's all have sex!"
That's verbatim, by the way.
Nuclear warheads doesn't seem very much in keeping with the theme so far

Ok, that was my first actual episode of Torchwood and its alright. You could sort of see a better show just peeping through. Its just the performances don't really live up to it. Even Marster's performance seemed dull as if he was bored.
Plus Gwen's eyes were freaky. Especially when telling Jack she was engaged.

They didn't cause the problem this week. That's pretty much first rate by Torchwood standards.
It was 'inside the rift,' thus the rift limited it.EnterpriseSovereign wrote:Injecting the team's DNA to confuse a bomb? Please, and the explosion wasn't that big

It just to show how flexible 25th Century guys when it comes to dancing.EnterpriseSovereign wrote:Did they really need to have so much gay kissing in the episode though?
Also murder rehab I loved that for some reason. It just shows how alien the future is.
There were alot of things in the episode. The opening chase, John andjAck's relationship that seemed cool, if they'd put in a bit more thought and polished it up a bit.

Looks kinda 18th, 19th century-ish. The Napoleonic wars, the Crimea, that sort of thing.
That was just as daft and pointless as the last series was, but you know what? I enjoyed it anyway. Guess I'd better avoid Stark for a while.

"So you want to live on a planet?"
"No. I think I'd find it a bit small and wierd."
"Aren't they dangerous? Don't they get hit by stuff?"

It was a whole lot worse, as impossible believe as it is.white_rabbit wrote:Thats the first episode of Torchwood I've ever watched.
What a load of shit, give me back my fucking license money, its like Queer as Folk raped one of the more irritating episodes of Buffy.
Is this shite indicative of the entire first series?
I found this episode to be watchable bollocks, but the Torchwood Three team seemed to be almost as dumb as ever (but not as muderously indifferent as they often were last season).
