Yay! Big City wanker is devoured. Always brings a smile to my eye.

Though good as PR gurus can be, I can't help but think this is an uphill struggle when a whole skyscraper has been infected by pre-history smog and giant worms. It's a wee bit different to an empty shopping mall.

Maybe, but so far only three people are still alive, and none have actually seen the worms. Just smoke

I saw a wormy. ^_^

They spit, too. Wondered about the black gunk on the faces. Perhaps something of an early Dilophosaurus mechanism for catching prey.

The ARC actually looks like an Ark. The Home Office has a sense of humour. It would seem that neo-Claudia is something of a bitch too, albeit, one good at the Labour spin. :P

The bit with the soldier who was that janitor in the first episode is interesting. Perhaps they really are trying to capture the creatures or find a way to understand the anomalies without Cutter's help, given he's such a swell guy for disliking the government and all.

Anyone else think those giant worms in Half-Life when Connor got a full head blowjob?

EDIT: And Helen - the bitch - is back.

They must be after something, after all you don't spend the huge amounts of money involved in that operation just to keep it a secret. They'll want sopme payback. You've also got to wonder what's happening in the rest of the world and if they'll ever address it.

Its a shame they seem to have lost there special ops support, so far this season its only been the core team. Why no extra suport as needed?

I was thinking about elsewhere and can only assume other nations, if affected, would have their own teams dealing with this under the radar. I don't doubt there's an ulterior motive here.

For the same reason one of the spec-ops guys was supposedly posing as a cleaner. Something is up with that and I expect Cutter's team isn't going to be that loop either.

Wasn't that Japanese business executive in the satellite conference played by the same actor who also showed up in the infamous "Cyberwoman" episode from Torchwood? :)

Anyway, I think that "janitor" later turning up in a ARC uniform could just be a infiltrator into the Anomaly Research Centre's operation, but why and for whom.

To echo Harry Hill why does Hannah from S Club 7 occasionally look like a younger Pat Butcher from certain angles?

I think that guy might be an infiltrator to. I think he might be working for who ever the wife was / is working for and who first detected / created the anomilies.

My idea is that some government group either detected or created the anomilies and then put together there own team to investigate then including the wife character (cant remember her name). Something went wrong and they lost control of the anomilies and the wife went rogue (she doesn't seem like a team player to me). Then the series started and another group (later to be called ARC) discovered the anomilies and a seporate branch of the government found out about the anomilies the first group has now placed some of its agents near the anomilies and into ARC itself to keep tabs on what they know and to stop any evidence of there involvement being found.
