CIS gunship Question

An older ship that the Droid Gunship was based on, and it does carry crew. Again it's a Battlefront-only design, but it does show that the Confederacy had that type of vehicle at some point.

Is that actually a different ship, or are they simply calling it a different one to get around the problem with the real one not having crew? We've already seen that they are quite willing to fuck continuity in an attempt to fit everything from the games into it, gameplay or not. And this to me smells of gameplay.

I wrote that article and I had one helluva time convincing others they were different. Everyone insisted on redirecting it to the HMP article, even though they're given different manufacturers, names, appearances and loadout. :P

Well, if you're willing to accept the never-ending clown car battle droid dispensers that frequently in Republic Commando, then I don't think it's a stretch that a regular gunship can replace some of its armament loadout with similar dispensers.

I mean, really, in Republic Commando can you blast Super Battle Droids coming out of one of those dispensers till the sum total volume of the droid wreckage just about exceeds that if the dispenser.. what the hell?

Drawing from one game's mechanics to explain another's isn't exactly anything approaching a solution.. but on the other hand, Republic Commando is still far more "realistic" than Battlefront II.
