I'm going with Covenant. From an exiting life simulator, it is a dumbed down "cute" simulator. Not that is wrong by itself, its just that I hoped for the life simulator.
I hope that there will be a mod that "fixes" that.
Credo!

Spore Release Date Finally Announced
At long last, Maxis' evolution sim has a date.
February 12, 2008 - Get ready for the next Big Bang this fall! Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) and Maxis today announced that Spore™, the highly anticipated game from the creators of The Sims™, will be available at retailers worldwide the weekend of September 7. Spore will be available for the PC, Macintosh, Nintendo DS™, and mobile phones.
"The wait is almost over," said Maxis Chief Designer Will Wright. "We're in our final stages of testing and polish with Spore, and the team at Maxis can't wait to see the cosmos of content created by the community later this year."
Spore gives players their own personal universe in a box. Create and evolve life, establish tribes, build civilizations, sculpt entire worlds and explore a universe created by other gamers. Spore gives players a wealth of creative tools to customize nearly every aspect of their universe: creatures, vehicles, buildings, and even UFOs. Players can then seamlessly share their creations with the world or explore infinite new galaxies created by other gamers.
Consumers can visit www.spore.com to sign up for the Spore newsletter or check out all-new screenshots and video of the game. Members of the media can visit EA's press site at www.info.ea.com for information about all of EA's games.
Oh yes. Yes, indeed.
Sorry if this is a necro, but I figured this would be the best place for this, rather than starting a new thread.
If not, then feel free (because you need me to tell you, right?) to beat me half to death. But only half. I need the other half. For stuff.

It's completely all right Flagg. Hmm I think the first kind of creature I would make is something like This. Then again I wouldn't be suprised if there eventually appeared a creature based on some stupid 4chan meme.

That link doesn't work, but the site caused me to take a closer look at your username and avatar. On further reflection, I'm not sure I want to know what your creature is.

I edited the link to the pic so that you can see it, it's completely safe and clean (No porn). Completely honest.

Let's hope they stick to it...
Yeah, I only mentioned that 3 days ago, on this very page, in this very thread.
Oh, fuck, I'm brain-dead in the morning. Sorry about that.
On a different note: hell, yes, chakat! I'll have to see how feasible a critter like that is, once Spore comes out. I was planning on something with radial symmetry, myself.
