Appearance (for the benefit of other characters when they meet her): You have seen enough films about the legendary Cadian Shock Troops to recognize this woman as a Cadian. However, aside from the hair and eyes, you can see no other distinctive marks of her heritage. Her skin is quite pale, and completely unblemished by scars or toughened by harsh conditions, as you would expect it to be. She is also smaller than any Cadian you may have seen before. Remarkably, her hair is clean and shiny, quite an achievement considering the dirt and grime of the area. It is kept neat with a pair of barrettes and a black ribbon tied near the end. She wears a long-sleeved shirt, a waterproof jacket with many pockets, a long dark skirt, and heavy boots. There is no sign of any military equipment at all, but those more observant can see, beneath the innocuous exterior, the legendary Cadian training showing through.

Equipment: Camillia had all her military-issue equipment repossessed when she was taken by the Black Ship. However, she managed to keep hold of a pair of barrettes clipped into her hair, which became a reminder of her past, a charm to ward off misfortune, and a psychic focus. After being sanctioned, she was issued the equipment of her office, including the Psykana mercy blade to be used if she was in danger of possession and a small book of Imperial Saints to remind her that they are always watching. During her first assignment as an aide to an Imperial Guard Captain, she was issued a sword and a compact laspistol, more out of respect for her heritage than for any real necessity.

Right. Play by post is fine by me. I'm usually available after 3 on mondays, wednesdays, and fridays and am done by 8pm (have to be strict now that school is getting in gear).

If we do play-by-post, we could use it to email our dice rolls to Hotfoot as they are made, and then we could post the results with our post, so that he wouldn't have to make them for us, thereby speeding combat and other tests by at least making it possible for us to do our own actions without having to wait.

Unless I've miscounted somewhere, we've got 12 players at the moment, and I'm going to call a soft cap on it from here on in. DPDarkPrimus, if you could send me a PM with a write-up based on the questions I asked on page 2, that'd be cool.

It seems like there's a 50-50 split on play by post virtual tabletop, so in the interest of fairness, we'll start with play by post to get the game going, and we'll try the virtual tabletop when the first combat rolls around. Otherwise, I'll do the rolls behind my GM screen and post the results, or you can use the dice-by-email thinger. Someone send me a test run to see how it works.

I can start the thread up tonight if so desired, once everyone gets one final check on their sheets and I throw together a nice little reference spreadsheet.

You're fine Academia Nut. The people I need to finish things off are as follows:

*I need full sheets from Vehrec, Losinti, and Kojiro
*I need full and itemized gear lists from most people who haven't posted it already, including remaining thrones.
*I need armors from Ripp, Block, and Feil
*Homeworld type from Raj. I know I've got it, I just can't find it.

Once I have these things, I think we can begin.

Update:

All I need now is a full character sheet from Kojiro, armor from Ripp and Feil, and....well, that's it.

As more than 90% of the characters are finished and all that's missing is some minor gear we don't need just yet (I hope), we can move to making the in-game thread.

I just need to figure out where to throw it...

Assuming nobody has a problem with their stats and pretty much their full character sheets being shown to the world, I can unveil the google document I've set up as a reference.

Stat sheets are fine with me, but a significant portion of my character response ought to remain between my character and the GM until it comes to light in gameplay.

Eh, I was just stealing a scene from the movie "The Serpent and the Rainbow" although it involved a large nail (more of a spike really) rather than a knife.

At least I didn't immediately suggest my mono-edged bayonet though.
