Wrong. Evolution has nothing to do with the origin of life, that's abiogenesis.

I just want to say that I truly wish someone like Mike would become involved in politics. Especially DECISION making politics. I'm always amazed at how sharp he is when responding to points, and his ability to be devastatingly clear is gold. The analogies especially lay it out so easy that I don't even see how anyone could possibly throw a comeback that wouldn't make them look like an idiot.

I could just imagine him responding to reporter's questions and the constant headlines.... :P
You have to realize that most Christian "moral values" behaviour is not really about "protecting" anyone; it's about their desire to send a continual stream of messages of condemnation towards people whose existence offends them. - Darth Wong alias Mike Wong

While I don't necessarily disagree with you Justforfun000, I don't think I'm the only one here who read your last post there and just heard a really loud sucking noise... :P

On topic, it strikes me that in order to have any productive conversation with an individual like this Lisa here, you'd literally have to spell out rules for them beforehand in order to get anywhere. Otherwise you'll just constantly end up with the variation on the reply "But this is what I think".

Oh I've made posts like that before. I'm secure in the fact that I dare to say I know the man far too well from reading his posts over the years, not to mention our communications (which a few times got VERY heated, and rightly put me in my place), that nothing I say would ever 'flatter' him in any way that would garner respect. He has far too much integrity for that.

I truly mean it. I really envy his intelligence and wit, and even when I've been on the scathing end of it, I had no choice but to re-read after and realize I was the loser.

Honestly. I'd vote for him in a second. People like him are FAR too rare.
