Is Youtube really being pushed around so easily? I mean, they're owned by Google, and Google loves to take on BS copyright claims.

edit: actually, if it's TOS violation, I suppose there's justification.

Youtube's terms of service are rather twitchy and vague. Just ask Poe about the debacles involving his fan videos. Anybody can file a complaint to get it removed with minimal proof required on their part.

Indeed. Scientology claimed the video was 'hate speech' because it talked about destroying the church. Its back up now (last I checked), apparently youtube got 100,000 angry emails.

Hardly, but when I see pictures of middle-aged women with signs telling the story of their adult son's life being ruined by a money-hungry cult at these protests in numbers, "channer" doesn't come to mind for me.
