POKE!

And BTW, EVA-01's AT field isn't strong enough to stand up to photon torpedos.

Enterprise has it outgunned and out-shielded in every way. Eva's only hope is to chuck the Lance of Longinitus and pray REEALLY hard that's its Plawt Device Status pulls through.
I am capable of rearranging the fundamental building blocks of the universe in under six seconds. I shelve physics texts under "Fiction" in my personal library! I am grasping the reigns of the universe's carriage, and every morning get up and shout "Giddy up, boy!" You may never grasp the complexities of what I do, but at least have the courtesy to feign something other than slack-jawed oblivion in my presence. I, sir, am a wizard, and I break more natural laws before breakfast than of which you are even aware!

How close is point-blank? Assuming that he's too close for the Enterprise to hit, he might have a chance... If not, he's gone.

The Enterprise heads for the EVA at top impulse, aiming with its phasers and all it's got. Unfortunately, it burns out during re-entry to Earth's atmosphere.

EVA-01 wins.
