What was that card from the Unglued series where you rip it up, then throw it at your opponent's deck? If it touches it, you win.

Chaos Confetti.

I actually had a near mint Chaos Orb. I loved that card; broke my heart that I had to sell it to pay the mortgage.

For the Raging Goblin one, play the Mox and the Swamp. Tap Mox, summon Goblin (1/1 haste). Tap the Swamp and cast both Dark Rituals. Use the five mana to play Hatred. Sacrifice 19 Life to Hatred to give the Goblin +19/+0. Attack opponent with 20/1 Goblin.

Nether Shadow is basically the same thing except you need an extra Dark Ritual rather than the Mox Ruby.

I think it was listed at $65.00 at medium Scrye when I sold it along with the rest of my collection.

We used to call Magic "cardboard crack." Even after years I still have this itch to bring back my old Buried Alive deck. Nether Shadows and Ashen Ghouls... my only real friends....

Anyone else playing long enough to remember Prosperous Bloom decks? The first real combo deck (that the whole deck was built around getting the right combo together, as opposed to Channelball's more versatile approach), and it'll always have a special place in my heart.

I still have three decks built. One centers around Enduring Plague and Mirari (black/red burn), another is a pure permission with Tims (Counterspells, Power Sinks, AEther Storms). The third is my weenie green-white, with a single Gorilla Titan (4/4 trample, becomes 8/8 if no cards in graveyard) and Nature's Kiss (tap 1, remove top card in graveyard from game: target creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn). I smacked my roomie once with a 25/25 trample Gorilla Titan. I love Elves and Druids :D.

Ah yes I think those are the old rules, with onslaught out and the new clone I believe it was changed to the old one dying.
Uh, no. The rules are staying the same.

I was always personally fond of non-lethal but game-ending first turn actions.

Most basic and beloved-Swamp. Dark Ritual, Dark Ritual, Dark Ritual. Mind Twist. Have a nice day.

For the more exotic- (dont rember the combo, was towards the end of my MTG career, say around Ice Age) 1st Turn Untapped Nicol Bolas. That ~will~ ruin your whole day.

Longest Running Deck-Blue hint of Red Permission. Red for Earthquake and Blood Moon. 4 Disks. 4 Juggernaughts and 4 Mahat for offense, rest is pure counterage. Slow, but sure.

Collection Sold For-about 1500 US, over several years to pay for various things. Full load of Moxen, pair O Lotus, the Old Blue Wrong, etc.

Sad thing, I miss Ancestral Recall more than I miss my Lotus, Chaos Orb, etc.

The wackiest deck I ever brought to a tournament was titled "Oof!" It was created two weeks after Urza's Saga became legal and everyone was playing Academy (if you don't remember, that was the deck that used Tolarian Academy to get a ton of mana to make you draw up your deck. A well played Academy could get like 1800 mana.), the decking version as opposed to the fireball version.
I can't tell you the decklist, only that it had just shy of 2000 cards in the deck. :D
Hardest part was coming up with enough stuff to fill it without going over the 4-of-each limit. Second hardest was shuffling. I went 1-2 that day, but the victory was against an Academy deck, so that's okay.
