What are your favorite fringe groups/ideologies in politics? Yes, they often have the characteristics of religions, but I'm looking for groups that aren't primarily Christian or Scientologist or what have you.
Lyndon LaRouche's supporters pass pamphlets on my campus. They're funny, because they call Dick Cheney and Al Gore fascists. And posit that everything is controlled by an evil Anglo-Dutch empire and their Zionist allies.
Also, I have a newfound appreciation for Ayn Rand's Objectivism ever since I found out what a campy, pulpy joke it is.
