Sliders... Great idea, degenerated into rubbish, so bad that seasons four and five have never been shown on british tv! Loved the original series tho.
Red Dwarf... Just got plain silly after S6.
X-Files... Worldwid Phenomenom turns into Silly alien conspiracy theory shit.
We've mentioned most sci-fi series here, are there any that didn't end badly/turn shit?
I did think Quantum Leap finished nicely, even if it did get a bit repetitive towards the end.[/i]
...we just have to decide what to do with the time given to us, and do the best we can.....

EFC killed by Tribune's Stupidity Complex. That company could take Star Wars and kill it within a year.

Wasn't Red Dwarf always intended to be more or less humoristic?? (although that doesn't mean it should be KKKomedy)
"Hi there, would you like to have a cookie?"

"No, actually I would HATE to have a cookie, you vapid waste of inedible flesh!"

Yeah it was always meant to be comedy, but the last two series lost the feel of the rest of the show, mostly I think due to the loss of Rod Grant, and the adition of other writers. The show just became ridiculous.

I vote DS9 for a show that started slowly, picked up steam, and then fell off again. It would have ended great of Jadzia had survived and if Sosko hadn't gone into the Celestial Temple. The final episode of the series was an episode that started great, but ended terribly. They should've just ended it with the Dominion losing the war and Gul Dukat being killed wwithout Sisko going into the temple. Either that, or having Sisko reject being the Emissary and devote his full duty to being a Starfleet officer.
