Has anyone else seen this shit? She's basically saying "Vote for me or John McCain". She now joins the ranks of Zell Miller and Joe Liberman.

What a fucking cunt.

What is so wrong with that? She thinks that the President should have experience. Shouldn't she be commended for being able to cross party lines and say that their candidate is better than some of ours?

No surprise. She'd rather lose against McCain than see Obama be the candidate running against him.

It helps if the candidate in question hasn't proven himself to be a dumbfuck of the highest order.

It will be very interesting to see what happens when/if Obama gets the nomination. Will she maintain her position, or back her party.

I think she's put herself between a rock and a hard place there.

When one's actions within one's own party make the inter-party debates on the republican side look like a game of softball in comparison, there's loads wrong with it.

To be more precise: The primaries are to decide who is going to represent your party in the general elections. Yeah, you can go ahead and point out why you're better than the nominees, but you're still on the same team. You allegedly have the same general goals and mutual support of the people in your party.

Hillary, on the other hand, is treating Obama like a piece of shit, viciously going on the attack if given half an opportunity. And now she's reached the point where she ACTIVELY ENDORSING the party she's supposed to be running AGAINST over the people in her own party.

There are all sorts of reasons I'd rather not have Hillary as president. 'Not a team player' is just one more reason on top of the pile.

The sad thing is that her "lifetime of experience" amounts to one and a half terms in the Senate and eight years as First Lady. Good luck to her trying to win the Experience category against somebody with 20+ years in the Senate and a combat veteran who spent five years in a box in Hanoi.

That is one reason why Hillary cannot win in November. She's just provided another reason in her semi-endorsement of her would-be opponent and has essentially erased even the concept of a distinction between herself as challenger and McCain the Establishment man. It's a losing strategy which favours the status-quo every time.

If I were media strategist for Team Obama, I'd take that video and make Hillary eat it every damn day as her preferring a Republican victory if she can't be the nominee.

Do you think she actually believes that?

God, the more I see of her the more I realize that she's a complete dipshit.

And of course, when presented with the one candidate in the last 8 years who might, heaven forbid, actually be decent... They fall head over heels for Clinton's whining, manipulative bullshit. It is truly incredibly, isn't it?

Part of it might also be the influence the superdelegates: if Obama wins, the Clintonians all vote McCain, and the party is screwed in November. However, most of the Obama supporters would vote Clinton in November, so...

Except that they wouldn't. Aside from the surveys which show something like 80% or more of Clinton supporters would vote for Obama in the general the fact remains that Clinton's core constituency isn't going to vote Republican. Democratic leaning women aren't voting for McCain and hispanics who have gotten shafted by the Republican party aren't either. The only possible group which could swing is under educated voters. However those who make up Clinton's core supporters tend to be union or pro-union which McCin and the Republican's aren't (and Obama could easily spend time highlighting how he is working to make unionization easier).

So the end of it is that Clinton's core is going to vote Democrat in November regardless...Obama's core includes a lot of independents whom Hillary would have to spend a LOT of time wooing and Black America which may just stay at home if Hillary gets the nod. Seriously anybody looking at the electroate knows that Hillary can carry women but she has to carry other groups as well. She could maybe win Hispanics but she is going to lose the Black vote (no in percentages, just in raw numbers) and will have to defend all of the independents who voted in the Democratic Primaries from slipping into McCain's hand. Simply put she would be on the defensive from the start while Obama can immediately go after the center leaning downscale voters and independents who are generally anti-Bush but need a palpable alternative.

Not that this needs saying, but Hildebeast has officially cemented her status as a DINO.
