Slight hijack: What was the last Calvin and Hobbes comic? Don't show me if it is sad though. I'm still dealing with Oni'sCaptainChewbacca wrote:Its unofficial. Ita actually not even that good, when you consider there WERE comic panels with Calvin working on homework, but this guy didn't use any of them.

Its Calvin & Hobbes talking about experiencing life to the fullest, and at the end they sled down a hill into great new adventures.havokeff wrote:Slight hijack: What was the last Calvin and Hobbes comic? Damnit. That still makes me sad. I've got such a soft spot for that strip and those characters, I can barely read them anymore.CaptainChewbacca wrote:Its Calvin & Hobbes talking about experiencing life to the fullest, and at the end they sled down a hill into great new adventures.havokeff wrote:Slight hijack: What was the last Calvin and Hobbes comic? Dunno what you're talking about, I still love that strip. I can read it and say to myself, "I can still use my imagination and enjoy myself that much."havokeff wrote:Damnit. That still makes me sad. I've got such a soft spot for that strip and those characters, I can barely read them anymore.
Judging from what I've seen of you and your art so far, Havokeff, I'd say you're more than capable of doing the same.
Gaian Paradigm: Because not all fantasy has to be childish crap.
Ephemeral Pie: Because not all role-playing has to be shallow.
My art: Because not all DA users are talentless emo twits.

I think you misunderstand my meaning. Imagination isn't my problem.Oni Koneko Damien wrote:Dunno what you're talking about, I still love that strip. You know how people sometimes just have soft spots for certain things that they get emotional and/or nostalgic about? That is how I get when I read the strip anymore. I somehow got so severely invested in the characters that the emotion that the strip conveys just hits me like a ton of bricks. Especially the poignant ones. I think the closest I have ever come to depression is reading a sad Calvin and Hobbes.

Do you have the source image? ... I guess a google search would probably find that pretty quick.

And congratulations on fucking up the thread formatting, too.

I've seen Death Proof. That is such a feelgood movie as you watch the misogynist, over-compensating little pussy rightfully get the shit kicked out of him.
And some randomness to push me back on topic:
Because it reminds me so much of both Omegaturd and Volleyball:
