Taking over the world with Terminators is easy. Getting the world to be recreated in a different image is the hard part.

I'd probably create a religion centered around science and rationalism. Humanism would be worshipped, and I'd probably create ten commandments, but definitely with a polythestic pantheon.

With Terminators, it's even possible to walk up ignoring machine gun fire and disarm soldiers. The hardest part is seeing through with the revolution. It would take at least one human lifetime to isolate babies from ignorant parents and educate them. Let's face it, educating a racist or most human beings is a total waste of time. If I die before then, either the Terminators have to be programmed to continue the plan, or it all goes to shit when I die. I wouldn't trust a single person in the world with that kind of power.

For those who say why I should trust myself, I'll bring up what Sikon did in one of these other RAR scenarios. I know my own limits, and what I'd be willing to do. I'd be satisfied with carnal pleasures and fame, but never against consent, and I know how far I'd personally go. I actually prefer to be behind the scenes, doing thankless but necessary tasks. Power would corrupt me, but only so far.

The hard part would be constructing a world constitution and implementing it. I'm not an expert on history or constitutions by any stretch of the imagination, and I don't know what is progressive or what isn't. A lot of my time would actually be spent studying (like it isn't now.)

I was under the impression that the US military was rather small in the 30s; perhaps the USN was large, but the army had been somewhat neglected since WW1; hence all the crash development projects to come up with things like the Stuart and Grant tanks later.

"No. I think I'd find it a bit small and wierd."

They mightn't have had a lot of tanks and the like at the time, but they had several dangerous things that other armies didn't.

1) platoon and company level heavy support weaponry that can actually damage my precious metal servants.
2) massive manufacturing and recruiting capability allows for meatshields with guns a-plenty between me and the East and West Coast.
3) I can't secure the coasts due to the navy. The airforce will play merry hell with me inland.

The US start is going to be substantially more bloody than either Australia or Kazakhstan.

If T-800s are Arnie models, are they powered by those high-explosive fuel cells from T3? Could those be turned into primitive atomics?

I would land in Omsk, taking over some relatively isolated area. Infiltrators are sent to decapitate the Stalin regime; with the upper echelons eradicated or staggering, the Soviet Union will be unable to put up a coordinated resistance, and I can destroy rival forces piecemeal. Also, I shall invite Poles, Romanians and whomever I can raise to take part in dismantling the Soviet Empire.

Then, I shall retreat with my forces and only fight on the defence. Without the Soviets, there will be no international Communism to worry about, and the Nazis likely will not get into power with the main threat they agitated against neutralised. Hit squads will be sent out to deal with the most troublesome enemy leaders, but that will be the limit of future interference.

Oh, and I shall not share my technology with anyone else, since that would deprive me of the edge I require to defend myself.

That was the lame T-850 with the equally retarded hydrogen fuel-cell of death. The T-800s originally are powered by a nuclear cell of come description with over a century operational power. And they don't explode when damaged.

No, they have the far less explosive cells from the previous two movies.

I see. My thanks for the explanation.

That's from the Special Edition though. What's the canonicity of that?

It's in the novelization, too...I'd figure unless it's contradicted by something else, count it as canon.

Are you sure about that hydrogen cell thing, A. Valdemar? I was under the impression that the T-850 was powered by plot holes. :D

The only thing that would make this scenario better is if you also have an AI or two that are ALSO loyal to you, and get them cracking on life extension, some type of post human enhancement for yourself or newer technology, or building more AIs also loyal to you.

Because, sooner or later, the rest of the world may catch up with your army of robots, and then some shit may go down.
