I swear Hillary's campaign is like Nader, all over again, pure sabotage just to devide the Democratic Party....
No. Hillary's campaign has yet to rise to that level of competence.
I dunno.
Some people on both sides of the aisle are speculating that she's deliberately trying to make it easy for McCain to defeat Obama (if he wins the nomination) in order to pave the way for a 2012 run.

If I were charitable, I wouldn't believe it.
However, after her comments about McCain being 'experienced' enough while Obama wasn't, I tend to believe that she'd rather see McCain win in November than Obama.

If Hillary thinks she'd have a chance in 2012 after losing this year to either Obama or McCain, she's delusional. The sad fact is that this was the only year she had any realistic shot at the White House. It was now or never and increasingly it looks like it will be never. The chump who loses to John McCain had better forget about running for president ever again.

I tend to agree. I think Clinton and her advisers believe that at the end of the day whoever is nominated by the Democratic primary will win the general election. There is some truth to the notion that the Democratic candidate will have a clear advantage considering the political climate in the US right now, but the idea that McCain cannot pull off a victory is laughably absurd. Especially considering the DLC's track record for the past 12+ years.

If it's OK to say that Obama owed his position to the fact that he's black, then should we not say that every president in US history only achieved his position because he was white?

I am so fucking sick of the idea that whites are some kind of oppressed minority, regardless of who says it. It's pure bullshit and anyone with an ounce of honesty knows it.

Personally, I hope she does not win back her seat in the Senate. The way things are going, she's not even fit to be a Senator, let alone a Congresswoman.

That's ridiculous. If anything, he's where he is despite the fact that he's black (considering there are so many racists around)

I don't particularly like the guy but it seems pretty obvious that it's Obama's charisma not his colour that has got him where he is today.

HOLY SHIT OBAMA'S BLACK!?

*ahem*

Seriously now. I'm drawn to him for his charisma and I'll be honest, listening to him talk makes me feel like everything will actually turn out right. I just like the feeling of having the optimism that use to exist in this country back.

I am convinced an Obama presidency will fix a lot of the problem's we have in this country and get us on a road to recovery.
