I am actually reminded of the opposite, when I think of this situation. For some reason, I can't get this idea that we're the Ents, emerging from Fangorn Forest, and Doctor Schneider is hiding in his tower.

My real problem with them, though, is their hypocrisy. I don't know if you guys picked this up from my debates with DarkStar, but there's two things people create that I can't abide: double-standards and hypocrisy. All of their members that I have heard from have these in spades.

And it's nice to see that literally they claim Mike is victorious because their side won't debate...so what does that mean because they ran, Mike wins by default thus should satisfy him and his feeling that they've slandered him.

Personally I'd rather be the swearing bastard who stands up for himself and won't run after calling someone a moron and said 'moron' comes up and says prove it...that's just rank cowardice no matter how you slice it.

Ender, as Mike Wong and the SD.net community are not responsible for the actions or opinions of individual members, the same applies to myself, Bernd, and the SCN.

Since you've stated that you were the one who posted under the name "Troll Hater" back in August -- and your message specifically used the words "we" in the plural form. We made the mistake of attributing characteristics to the entire community -- for my part I'm trying to cut that back now, but that doesn't mean that individuals can't participate on both boards. (And I know of at least one who has successfully done that already, and for quite a while.)

You invaded our forums, people got pissed off, I chose to speak for them, at the fact that I responded in a rather civil matter (especially compared to what was posted) means we are all idiots here.

And can I have the title "Uruk Hai Commander"?

But fair - Even though I know only about that board what I've read on a handful of threads there, and even as an irregular poster here, I can still see that this community is leagues more civilized than that one, where the primates still haven't gotten past dung-flinging yet. If you are really really interested in the true meaning of weapon and shield strength figures, I recommend that you go to SD.net where this is scientifically correctly analyzed.

Just kidding! We know that the figures were made up by writers who usually have not the slightest idea what the units mean, and how many orders of magnitude such as "giga" or "tera" are appropriate. I tend not to listen to such figures.
