Let's see here, the way I figure it I can carry about 40kg of the stuff and be overloaded, so if I take one of the heavy stubbers that's 35kg right there. Now, the question is Hotfoot, how many of those bullets are for the heavy stubber? Because ironically I believe those bullets are the lightest per capita according to the rules, with 200 rounds having a mass of 3.5kg. So I can take a a heavy stubber and 200 rounds, plus some miscellaneous stuff and only be overloaded.

Of course, this raises the question of how to transport all this stuff as its kind of hard to be subtle about it. "Hey, is that a enough weaponry to fend off a small WAAAGH! in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"

Once we have it moved we can sort out who gets what exactly though. I'd like to call an autopistol though, the ability to lay down suppressive fire is always nice.

About 900 of the rounds are for use with the heavy stubbers.

I'll drop my Shotgun and extra shells in exchange for an Autogun and 300 rounds for it. I'm also using one of the Autopistols for the moment, though if any of you guys want it, I was just going to drop it when we blow the armory.

I'll get back to you on what I'll spend my experience on instead of heavy weapons (sp) training, okay Hotfoot? :P

just so everyone knows, the AIM chatroom is a good place to coordinate this kind of stuff. Chatroom name is sdndh.

edit: since DPDP is no longer gonna be our heavy weapons guy, I'm gonna say that Quintos would make a pretty awesome heavy weapons guy. 2 strength advances gets to S 45 and bulging biceps, which allows you to fire semi and full auto without bracing, thereby giving another iconic symbol of 40K: the huge guy with a huge machine gun blasting away at hordes of enemies.

Okay then, I guess unless Raj wants to be the heavy weapons guy then I'm it. Hmmm... the idea of an officer carrying around a heavy bolter exhorting his troops to go onward for the glory of the Emperor is pretty frakking amusing. Plus as an officer I might, you know, have the income to afford firing a heavy bolter, as this seems an accurate summation of the cost. Of course, its also an accurate summation of what looks like a hell of a lot of fun.

Assuming no objections, Zakary shall grab:

1 Autopistol, 90 bullets (5 mags)
1 Stub Automatic, 45 bullets (5 mags)

And if none of the fighter-types want/can carry some Basic weapons, I plan to pick up both Basic SP and Las as soon as I can (for Arms Master), so I'll eventually be able to use some of those as well.

Yeah, pretty much. I have to make do somehow until I can get a Long Las though.

As far as Heavy Weapons go, Lazarus isn't going to be a specialist in that yet (though I plan to pick up the ability to use a variety of weapons later.) My plan is to take Lazarus down the scout/sniper path eventually.

Oh and an AK-47 in 40k would just be a space AK I guess

Okay near as I can figure I used one full clip in the fight.

So tallying my weight, my carry limit is 18 kg, my lift 36 though I've got a backpack to help haul that I could potentially stick on a more burly character.

Okay a clip is 10% of weapon weight so I'll take enough ammo to give me 4 spare clips + 1 in the gun, along with a spare loaded autopistol as a backup (since drawing a new weapon is quicker than reloading for me right now. With it's own clip loaded that takes me down to. Minus armor and hammer and throwing knives.. 3.5 kilos free before I hit my weight limits.

I'm taking one shock maul for examination later and for evidence of more strangeness down here.. plus I can get training for it with my next career advance.

How long is the hike back to the Grimloch base again? If I can do it without getting myself passed out I'd like to load up on as much stuff as possible for sale/bribes/gifts later.

Then I am official the heavy weapons guy. XP expenditure is now 100 for Strength increase, 200 for Heavy Weapons Prof (SP), and 100 for Dodge. This also means that I can now carry more shit as my strength is increased.

By the way, I'm going to need to know who all is searching the dome building.

I am. I believe Block's Character is as well, as he suggested it. Gelt might be coming if he wants to as well, though a two man team meets my minimums for doing potentially dangerous things.

Varnius will be searching there eventually, although he'll clear the area around the group first. He'll be using psiesence a lot.

Taking: 91 bullets chambered for my autorifle (1 to top off a depleted mag, 1 to fill my old magazine, 2 more magazines); 32 bullets chambered for my autopistol; one medkit, will take the other two if nobody else will.

I'm well under my carry limit (15.5kg out of 36, by my current count; 19.5 if I take the other 2 medkits) so I can carry more; this is just the equipment I expect to use personally. Both of our arbitrators should arm themselves with shock weapons; 100xp for a Scarce weapon that utterly destroys lightly armored opponents is not a thing to waste; also, shock weapons will fetch a good price if we can find a market for them.

Currently carrying 16 kg before I start muleing. No weapons I want except for a spare shotgun and shockmaul. Grab 30 shells to bring me up to 36 total. That brings me up to a load of 23.5 kg. When it comes time to mule things out, I'll haul out my mass in autoguns and autopistols as well as ammo for both. Extra Shock Mauls may also be muled out.

Also going to tag along on the dome inspection, putting my Scrutiny and Awareness to good use hopefully.

Heh, I was afraid there might be some sort of abomination or sacrificial pit or something in the dome. Luckily so far it is just junk.

In other games, shooting a helpless dude in the head is a sign that your character is ruthless or a dick.

In 40K, its being consistent with the setting and good roleplaying.

Ha ha, I was just thinking that. :D

That happens all the time in the RL game I'm GMing. Every time the party incapacitates and stabilizes a heretic for interrogation, they're always promptly executed afterward. Except the Tech-Priest is a sissy and always passes off the "honors" to the Cleric.
