What ever happened to him? He never was officially killed/defeated. The final time we see him is when Oma "fights" him thus keeping him occupied as long as she does, he's still around somewhere.Though it'd be hilarious if they all stopped believing in Origin, and just started worshipping Anubis instead.

I wanted to see them transport one over to one of the Ori ships and see how they would deal with them. Though, those prior bugs seemed to be able to reproduce even faster than the replicators.I was rather fond of the replicator plot
Also, did anyone notice just how much punishment SG1's ship could take with it's Asgard shields? While they were trying to find the code to make them disessemble, they were getting pounded on by 4 ori ships, they rocked thier ship, but never fully penetrated the shield.

The whole point of that was that Oma has taken it upon herself to keep him occupied for the rest of eternity, I think.Shrykull wrote:What ever happened to him? Yeah that was quite insane. I saw the leaked version quite a while ago, so I don't remember everything, but maybe the Reps were supplying additional power to the shields the way they supplied additional power to the Goa'uld Ha'tak in season 5.Shrykull wrote:

I kept expecting/hoping for the Replicators to realize that they were under attack, and return fire on the Ori ships.Stargate Nerd wrote: Yeah that was quite insane. Makes me wonder, if Oma could lower daniel back to non-ascended status (who was fully ascended) why couldn't she lower anubis who wasn't even fully ascended?Darth Yoshi wrote:The whole point of that was that Oma has taken it upon herself to keep him occupied for the rest of eternity, I think.Shrykull wrote:What ever happened to him? Also, Daniel has the knowledge now to make a weapon that can kill an ascended being, he could make one to kill Anubis.

She attempted to lower Anubis back (her original plan). That failed for whatever reason (the others appeared to stop her)Makes me wonder, if Oma could lower daniel back to non-ascended status (who was fully ascended) why couldn't she lower anubis who wasn't even fully ascended?
The implication in threads seems to be that her punishment for making such a monumental mistake in ascending Anubis was for the events that played out to take place, so it seems she was over ruled.
Eventually her conscience got the better of her and she decided the only solution was to fight him for eternity. She can't beat him, but neither can she lose.
Morgan made the same choice when it became apparent the others weren't going to do anything about Adrea.
No he doesn't, that knowledge was lost when Myrrdin magically reset his brain. Also, Daniel has the knowledge now to make a weapon that can kill an ascended being, he could make one to kill Anubis.

My main gripe with the movie that hasn't been mentioned yet is that the Odyssey was able to just turn on the Supergate and waltz into the Ori galaxy virtually undetected, even though there were FOUR Ori ships just sitting around doing nothing. I mean, wouldn't it possibly be a good idea to have one of them, you know, guard the Supergate on the Ori side? Or on the Milky Way side? Or both? This actually bothered me more than the failure to mention the phasing device.
Aside from that, I agree with earlier comments that there should have been a space battle of some kind over Earth, either involving the phase cloak or not. I think this was avoided so that undue attention wouldn't be drawn away from SG1, though they could have just had Landry quasi-leading the battle for some silly reason. Or even better, if they could have got RDA or General Hammond back for a *small* part, it would have legitimized a space battle (or one over Antartica for a change of scenery). Instead, we get lame footage of the Odyssey being totally pounded on by four Ori ships, just sitting there like a lump. Aside from "Wow, those are some nice shields" it was quite a meh moment.
I didn't have a problem with the Replicators. Maybe it didn't make all that much sense, but the IOA, NID, ect have proven themselves to be totally retarded in the past and I didn't have to suspend disbelief this time. Perhaps a little too much time was spent dealing with it, but at the same time it was an unexpected twist in the predictable "Ori get curbstomped by Uber-Artifact in the nick of time" plot.
As for the whole Teal'c Mountain Quest, I sort of forced myself to assume that it was another intervention by Morgan to let him go undetected by the attack squad after the battle where everyone else gets captured. I'm also kinda willing to forgive it just to hear the funny things Chris Judge will inevitably say during it in the commentary thing, which I haven't listened to yet.
Another nitpick, Adria seemed to generally believe that what she was doing was right during the series. Going from misinformed spiritual war leader to power mad ultra paranoid blazing with evil supervillain seemed a little abrupt to me.
All and all, despite the multiple Deus Exings, it was a fun story to watch. My major complaint is the lack of a good space battle, but otherwise I was about as satisfied as I expected to be. It was no "Threads", but I don't find myself disgusted by the movie as many posters here seem to be.
