Every time I see Letterman he seems unenthusiastic about everything.

I don't see how people can stand him. Though he's better than Leno. If Leno had done that bit, he would've faked enthusiasm and it would've been painful.

If it had been run by Conan, not only would it have been funny, but he would have been ecstatic because he probably watches it. And even if he doesn't, he'd have all his crew that does watch it come out to swarm the cast.
