Doesnt the Bible try to put the Romans in a positive light where possible so as to not offende its target audience? I thought that was the whole point of having the Roman officer in charge defer to the Jewish authorities on the execution of Jesus.

They sometimes used nails, sometimes rope; neither was a special torment for Jesus.

We're thinking in different systems; WoW shamans gain the ability to resurrect others and walk on water earlier, but they only gain self-resurrection at level 30.
In a bit of an ironic twist, though, they use an ankh for it.
The sad truth is that in a sane world this kind of behavior would be enough to instantly label those taking part as mentally disturbed; why is there such a reluctance to come right out and say that these fucks are twisted?
