Darth Traviss Strikes Again!

Post by Lord Poe »

All the posts in the "Revelation" review thread on TFN are gone, and the "Revelation" discussion thread is completely gone!

Glad I saved YodaKenobi's review...

EDIT: Wait a fuckin' minute...now they're back. But wasn't that thread in the hundreds of pages? Its now 23...

TFN's forum will have different numbers of posts per page depending on your individual profile settings - if you're logged in and have the maximum number of posts per page as your preference, what was 100s of pages before you logged in will be reduced significantly. It can be very confusing when someone links from TFN when logged in and someone with different settings can't find the thing he's talking about.

I checked the total pages with the drop-down menu. Its only 23.

Strangely, when I first logged in, the entire thread was pages of (no message). Then, it came back. THEN, half the pages were (no message) again. WTF?

And the discussion thread is back, too. I went up to 5 pages looking for it, and it wasn't there the first time. Now, its back.

The "no message" thing is happening across the board, certainly not localized to the Revelation discussion and review thread (even the fleet junkies thread is "gone"), though I checked some earlier threads, and they're still there in full.

Odds are it's just some problem with the site.

I haven't been able to access the site nor the Jedi Council for the last two weeks.

What's sad is that when I first read it, I was automatically thinking that it's true. Now whether or not it was just a site error or something, it's just kind of sad that I would automatically assume that such a thing could be true at all. It just shows how low and messed up the EU and much of the community has become.

I've never read the EU, so I'm curious. Given her low troop estimates, how does she describe a pitched battle on a given planet? Or does she not delve into them at all?

She describes them as "brush fires" and moves on.

TFN seems to be working again.

It is interesting to note that the 'official' average score count has stopped in the Revelation-review thread. The unofficial score is currently 5.59.
