Religious chain letters

Post by Darth Wong »

I just posted a thread in the Library sub-forum for religious chain letters. I know there are plenty of them, dealing with such subjects as Muslim immigration, Christmas, and who knows what else, but I don't receive that many examples of the genre. So if any of you get them, please add them to the following library thread:

https://bbs.stardestroyer.net/viewtopic.php?t=120546

PS. If anyone wants to write up a recommended response to these religious chain letters, go ahead. I know that the one I posted is so full of obvious problems that one wouldn't even know where to start.

I'm not sure if this is what you're after, but this is to do with Muslims. There are a couple of other religious ones in that database, but they aren't very good. As far as a reply to chain letters goes, I'm not entirely sure of the point of it. The kind of person who sends chain letters is hardly likely to be amenable to a response.

Is the thread in the Library open for commentary, or should I comment here?
Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history. There is a tiny splinter group, of course, that believes you can do these things... their number is negligible and they are stupid. --Dwight D. Eisenhower

Washington State only has two major population centers, the Spokane and Seattle areas. Of the two, only the greater Seattle area's population exceeds 1 million. So yes, there are a lot of rural fucktards in Washington :). Half the state is desert.

I believe regular users can post to it, unless my memory is off about the permissions there. If something is deemed off-topic or otherwise poor in that thread, I can always just move it here.

I knew I *could* post, I just wasn't sure if the library was intended to be a database without extraneous posts. I guess it's not, so I'll post there.

Damn, I just deleted one about a week ago... The sad thing is that a lot of people are so damn superstitiously stupid that they keep the chain going and annoy the more sane members of society.

Having lived most of my life in the third major population center (the Tri-Cities), I can tell you that there are plenty of fundamentalists on the east side of the state.

Ah yes, forgot about the Tri Cities. Don't live in the state, myself, just visit relatives up there every few years. Isn't the population of that area really small to call a major population center, though? Like 100K or less?
