I really love the last one the most. That and the second are the most "real" looking out of the set.

Reminds me of the propaganda commercials in the Starship Troopers movie.

They're cool, but completely inappropriate for nBSG's tone. The 12 Colonies would use modern propaganda techniques, not in-your-face WW2 style posters on any walls.

For real effect, you should cut off the white corners. They look troubling...

What's the deal with BSG and corners, anyway?

It was a more or less random decision by the art director, who wanted to make everything look 'a little different'.

At least one commentary early in the first season explained that it was a sort of in-joke, since the producers had to cut so many corners to get the show made.

Amusingly there is at least one book in series 3 that slipped through and which - horror! - had actual corners. Clearly the evil book-corner heresy has not been completed rooted out yet.

I think we are due a "Your Colonies need You!" poster with Adama on it now.

I can forgive the corners on the posters. After all, the designs themselves don't have clipped corners. The fact the posters do is just because corners make them easier to hang.

^They got the colour of the dress wrong, though. And I would think the white coat would have been a better choice, since that apparently is the attire they use most.

A decision must be made in the life of every nation at the very moment when the grasp of the enemy is at its throat. Then, it seems that the only way to survive is to use the means of the enemy, to rest survival upon what is expedient, to look the other way. Well, the answer to that is 'survival as what'? A country isn't a rock. It's not an extension of one's self. It's what it stands for. It's what it stands for when standing for something is the most difficult! - Chief Judge Haywood

It's a result of the Sepia coloring they got going on.

Well if you wanted to, you could claim that (all but the one with Six on it) they're for the first Human Cylon war.

All of the designs have clipped corners.

I'm curious, can you tell us what the small text says on "We will defeat the Cylons"? It's the only one I can't mostly discern from the company's website.
