McCain's Lack Of Secret Service Protection

Why the fuck should McCain be expected to have protection? There are hundreds of important leaders, businessmen and sports stars who attract just as many nutters as McCain if not more, and don't have protection. It's not as if the fabric of society would fall apart if he was killed. It is his choice if he doesn't want protection. I suspect though that most of the whining about this is bullshit party politics.

This seriously comes off as if the flip-flopping hothead is just playing macho. Or perhaps SS guard is withdrawn if there's serious questions about whether you can legally run(Two issues remain unresolved; the entirely semantic 'Born in the US' one, and the bill he wrote that he's defying with the FEC).

That does however mean that Dubya can be Heliogabalus, who makes Caligula look like the guy you want to do your tax returns

And there it is, any criticism of McCain brings out someone mentioning the fact he's been a PoW.

He plays the 'Rar, end of world, knife fight Preisdent of Iran' bullshit like all the rest of teh GOP prez candidates did. Why assume he's stopping now.
