My RPG-group and I will start a Star Wars campaign in a few weeks, and I wanted to provide an opening crawl introduction for each session. While I found a how-to guide for Powerpoint 2003 online, the text is too fast to read even on very slow if I don't want to animate every line separately (Besides, that looks stupid).
Has anyone here tried something similar before ? A link to a small free program that imitates the crawl or telling me how to increase the animation time above the maximum five seconds in Powerpoint 2003 would be appreciated.

I only know expensive programs that could do it, like Aftereffects. I'm not aware of a cheap one.Raesene wrote:My RPG-group and I will start a Star Wars campaign in a few weeks, and I wanted to provide an opening crawl introduction for each session. Found a way - Windows moviemaker has the SW opening crawl as option for credits. I tested it and it looks acceptable, and I could even add the appropriate music.
