Darth Garden Gnome's sig quote got me thinking. I play D2, and the group I play were are always looking for more people to play with. So I was wondering if anyone here plays.
Perhaps we could form a SD.net D2 playing group.
If anyone does play on bnet, post where you do. (Portal-i.e. US East, etc, Hardcore or Softcore, etc.)
Any D2 players here in the Forums?

Alright, Kev. If you're intrested, let me know the above details to see if it would even be possible.
We play in US East and generally in Hardcore. If people would be opposed to this, if they were Softcore only, we could help them get started in Hardcore. (I.E. sharing equip we have stored or find, any necesarry P.A.ing, etc.)

On a further note, I've seemingly managed to track down a way to get a cease fire from those annoying Window's Messaging pop-ups that myself and my roomate have been spammed with lately...
They minimize D2 because they appear ontop of everything, so even if you're clicking outside of the area of their grey box, it still does this. My roomates lost 3 D2 Hardcore chars because of this. I almost lost one of mine. It was a problem that needed attention badly.

I played Diablo 1 back in the day. I didn't care much for it (certainly didn't get obsessed)- I bought Diablo 2 and played it just for single player. Mutli-player Diablo bores me to tears- but I think that's because I'm over my click-fest no-skill phase. I'm older and wiser now

I was a Diablo II player... 2 years ago. 
I stopped playing quite some time ago (my lvl 67 Paladin's been probably deleted), and got into stull like Fallout and ALFA's Neverwinter Night's server. D2's got a fairly amusing single-player, but multiplayer is just a nightmare.
But it might suck less if there were recognizable SD.net people I could join and actually converse with, and know they're not going to be Stone of Jordan-whoring, PKing fuckwads. I'd be on USWest if more people showed up...
Bah, I'd rather someone sets up a NWN server, even with Nordock's PW at the least.
