The Onion at http://www.theonion.com is always good for a lark.

The total lack of cool websites pisses me off. I'm always hoping I'd find a site where everything you expect to be there is. I guess it's just something impossible to do. Like a Star Wars site that has every single media imaginable, ranging from Flash movies/games, to computer models, to freeware/shareware games, to mods for games, to comic strips, to fan fictions, to galactic maps, starship creators, character creators, to databases that make you feel like you're in an Imperial computer system or the Jedi Archive or makes you feel like you're on the Holonet or something cool like that...from the very first moment I surfed the 'Net, I set out to find websites like these, and to this day I haven't found a single one. :(

EDIT: Believe it or not, the closest thing that really made me feel like I was in the SW universe was X-Wing Alliance. That game really makes you feel like you're a part of the Azameen family. I don't know why, there's something about it that makes it seem like you're really living in the SW universe...I really wish they'd make more SW games like that. Maybe SW Galaxies will do it.
