No, he is right to be suspicious.

Adama is great, as always. I was afraid for a moment he would give in to Kara.

That is true. What sucks is that instead of having her find a simple, easily explained route to Earth, someone or something (standing in for the writers) has to pull this "trust me" shit.

Well, looks like God decided to listen to Baltar's request to be made to suffer. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

And Baltar is seriously mind-fucked, and Kara is just as mind fucked, and now Anders is scared of her.

Well if he dies, it is God's will, if he heals, it is God's will. It's always the same routine, but always works for the faith heal crowd.

Why is this happening? Why are they doing this shit? I don't want to watch one or both of these characters die.

If everyone thinks you're crazy, you can prove them wrong by threatening the President at gunpoint. Got it.

Clearly, it's Count Iblis.

I gave that episode a 3. The first half hour of the show? Pretty damn awesome. Loved the battle sequence, good set up. The last half hour? Kind of lame. I don't like they dusted off the old chestnut of having a character appear crazy and claim something completely without evidence when it's clear they are going to end up being vindicated. I'm also not liking them making Baltar magic.

Yeah, that is a tired plot device. Just for that, I find myself hoping they end up ignoring Kara and wander off the path until they end up nowhere near any kind of supplies, and die.

I think it's meant to prove that she is, in fact, crazy.

True. It doesn't mean she's not right. It's just that, if she is right, she's handicapped by also being crazy.

God damn it, after over a year, one new hour wasn't enough. I wanted it to just keep going.

I'm giving it a four. Pretty awesome throughout, especially the battle, though hampered a bit with Baltar's cult. I'm not against the idea of Baltar being made into a messiah figure for the One God. I think there are interesting things they can do with it and I've already liked some of the stuff they've done and said in just this episode. It's a neat idea except that Baltar's followers themselves are kind of silly.

The show has been weakening ever since they decided the religious overtones should take precedence over good sense/storytelling. Obviously religion has been important to the plot from the start, but it seems that every time Baltar takes a piss, it has meaning from the One True God.

Of course, that doesn't count for the fact that we have to not only endure one religion, but two competing religions at the same time, both of which seem to have their prophets and their followers. I'm sorry to see that the show has become about destiny.

The episode had a great battle sequence, and it's good to see Galactica (and now many other ships) still have scars from the battle. But the Galactica and other ships looked....different somehow. The CGI seemed different; lighter almost. Less shadows or something on exterior shots.

I don't know. Battle sequence automatically adds a point, and since it was on the order of sequences like Peggy/Galactica "battle" in terms of length, it just squeaks out a 4. But I get a bad feeling about how this is going to end (in terms of quality).

I don't know why people want Baltar to die, he's the highlight of the show for me.

He's easily the comic relief of the show, in my view. The man is just funny as hell. Oh, many times it's not written to be funny, but like they showed on the last episode of last season, the line "What about me?" in the cell after his trial summed the man up brilliantly, and had me rolling on the floor for at least a minute. It's just funny.

I agree, he adds to the show. I think he's a despicable character, but he's not the Baltar of old. He HAS done good in the past, sometimes (rarely) even for non-selfish reasons. It's just a rare event.
