Not David Bowie, Still Awesome (Dr Who S4 Spoilers)

Post by The Grim Squeaker »

Read about this last week, but it's been confirmed: Richard Dawkins is going to appear in Dr Who :).
In an interview with The Independent, current curator of the Doctor Who legacy Russell T. Davis announced that distinguished evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins would be making an appearance in the new season of Doctor Who. To quote Davies: 'People were falling at his feet ... We've had Kylie Minogue on that set, but it was Dawkins people were worshipping.' Dawkins is the author of many best-selling non-fiction books, from The Selfish Gene and The Blind Watchmaker to The God Delusion, and a renowned advocate of both Darwin's evolutionary theory and the merits of atheism."

Will his wife be back on the show too?

It's pretty cool, he was friends with various folk invovled in the show way back including Douglas Adams. Heck, he even married a Time Lady ;)

I can't get the link to work. But if its true.

FUCKING AWESOME.

Not only is Dawkins excellent when discussing evolution, he also trashes religious nutjobs, and as mentioned before he married a Time Lady.

And now he is apparently going to star in one of my favourite sci fi shows. Heck, his coolness ratings just went up several notches.

It seems that DEATH flubbed the link. Just change the 'co.us' part to a 'co.uk' and it should work.

Yeah, and when he meets the Doctor he will say you had your chance.

In reference to how Lalla Ward used to be married to Tom Baker

And that was a joke. I am not serious about such a line, so please don't start jumping on me
