I should clarify that it wasn't my doing. JC moderators aren't connected to TFN staff and vice-versa, and it was a staff choice. Still, it is illustrative that the atmosphere doesn't tend towards sycophancy as one might allege.

I'll believe the atmosphere is not sycophantic when people can attack a VIP without being forcibly silenced by the administration.

Especially when saying "[author's name] is a bad writer with a poor grasp of the source material." is construed -no, deliberately twisted- as a personal attack.

Personally, no matter what i say, i really have no "hatred" or personal dislike of Karen Traviss...i dont know her, so obviously i cant dislike her. That being said i stand by what i said in a previousthread:

She's crazy.

She can't write.

She's a relatively dim bulb.

That's not a personal attack, that's based on the evidence at hand. Her fixation on Mandos, and her desire to put down the Jedi in spite of film canon, and more so her insults and threats of violence against those who dislike her books present me with all the evidence i need to make these claims.
