Piff CNN, MSNBC has the Wacko and Keith Olbermann.

Err I mean Chris Matthews & Keith Olbermann. Plus they have Maddow and Buchanan on the panel which is another set of fun. The only way their team could be better is if Colbert was on the panel as well.

Speaking of which their coverage is already starting using the traditional Hillary supporter than Obama supporter routine and Chris has already got his pre-show tingles for Obama.

OAN thread sticked for the night
The defining thing at the moment is the 8% win, if Hillary wins by more than 8% it counts if not, then she won but not by enough to break the lead Obama has in the popular vote.

Another note I find it sad that the Democratic party is estatic that there's a 55% expected turn-out in the state, 55%! Why? Because 2004 it was only 26%

I haven't seen a constructive exit poll number, but CNN indicates Clinton is winning.

That's interesting: CNN is also saying that delegates are awarded depending on strength of Democratic base. Philadelphia, the heart of Obama country, is one of the strongest Democratic cities in the country. That gives him an easier path to a disproportionate number of delegates.

With 5% counted, they're projecting Clinton to win.

CNN shows 52-48 at 6% count. That is very unimpressive given what the poll numbers were.
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

It's getting increasingly hard to make that case though, since her numbers are now down to 4% lead.

with 15% of precincts reporting, it is at 53% to 47%, Clinton lead. Though I dont know how they can can be intellectually honest and call it for clinton this early...

CNN has a 53-47 lead right now. Obama could make a pretty powerful case for her dropping out if these results stick.

Don't they base it on a combination of exit polling and poll data? I don't recall any instances so far this season where they've called it for a candidate and then had to backtrack.

I think they mistakenly called it for Clinton back in Missouri.

A lot of the southern counties haven't been recorded yet; those are probably going to go for Obama so hopefully it will be close.

Anyone know what Union County is doing out in the middle of the state, voting for Obama? Are their demographics any different, or are there other factors influencing them?

He made a personal stop there from what I remember and drew in the entire County. One thing I think Obama under-estimates is exactly how powerful those in person visits of his are. If he had spent the past four weeks simply driving town to town he might have won this state by ten votes instead of just barley/wining/losing.

God I fucking hate the media:

"Clinton grabs crucial win over Obama", Yahoo's words, not mine.

...and they ran this report with only 35% reporting in, 54 to 46.

Clinton just crossed the 100,000 vote lead threshold, I think it's done.
