I cannot fucking believe what I am reading:

I openly talk about my experiences with mental health issues so that I can dispel the stereotype that anyone with any kind of mental illness is a disturbed social deviant. Yet SirNitram perpetuates that stereotype when he himself has a serious mental illness.

So, let me get this straight. The creepy stalker asshole who uses his trifecta of mental illnesses as an excuse for his failures - not only a failure to act but a failure to comprehend what the hell he's doing wrong by not acting - is dispelling the stereotype that people with mental illnesses are disturbed social deviants.

He uses his illnesses as excuses or distracting tangents, he actually is a disturbed social deviant, and he's so fixated on the idea of mental illness that he actually tries to analyze it in others, over the internet, with no training in psychology or psychiatry. Hasn't he ever considered the possibility that it's partly because of assholes like him that people with mental illnesses are ashamed to admit it?

Or more to the point it's not like those of us who have been diagnosed with mental conditions, and are taking responsibility for them, really try to hide things. Martin has been possibly the frankest of us about his conditions. Mine are the only ones I know of who has a case of violent tendancies, sure I study abnormal psych, but I've taken a lot more amature study of the matter then most people on the subject precisely because of my anger/violence issues.

Its bizzare in the extreme. Its like he's looking at the board through a twisted glass. Nitram wasn't the one who started mocking him, nor is he the one who started the ban thread. Macross seems to not notice the dozens of other people who have told him the same things Nitram has, and who did it BEFORE NITRAM STARTED IN ON HIM.

I don't use any crutches in my life, I just deal with my problems. Macross and Nitram are the frigging Goofus and Gallant of dealing with autism. Nit has problems, but he's overcome them and is a functioning member of society. Mac, on the other hand, spews elaborate scenarios of psychobabble where he has to slay the Black Mage in order to win the hand of Office Girl who secretly pines for him while she's getting rogered on a weekly basis.

What's more, I'm sure if Nitram could see right now, he'd tear this joker four new assholes and use him as a salt-shaker, but since he isn't I'll have to try my best. Let's just pray Tevar doesn't decide to obliterate this guy.

Utter bullshit. I wasn't worked up when I first posted. In point of fact, I had not read any of Sir Nitram's responses when I did. My response was based upon my own experiences exorcising my own demons, the same demons I have to fight against on a sometimes daily basis, and seeing those same demons being nurtured by someone else.

In other words, my post had nothing to do with Nitram's opinion and everything to do with having gone through the same goddamn thing (arguable worse, if you ignore the age difference).

I'll bet this is a lifelong pattern with this guy. There's always something he can focus on in order to distract himself from his own inadequacies. I like the way he pretends that Martin has somehow turned everyone against him, as if we would all be in his corner if not for that devious Martin guy! What a goddamned idiot.

If he simply went back to the beginning of this thread, he would notice that people pretty much had him pegged by the end of the first page. Nothing he's said since then has changed anyone's opinion of him as a creepy loser, and that was all before Martin ever appeared in this thread. But noooo, Martin turned everyone against him!

I don't know if that's necessarily true. I dated someone once who had his share of problems, and was in therapy every week to manage them, but the only people who even knew about it were his immediate family, his grandmother, and me. And I'm not even sure if everyone in his immediate family knew (he had younger siblings).

To a lot of people, mental illnesses aren't really the business of strangers or casual acquaintances. They're certainly not to be known to people on the internet.

Look Macross, your difficulty with relationships is a problem that you have to deal with and I don't judge you for it. You know, I've had severe problems interacting with women for most of my life due to various issues and I would have loved to have received have the advice this guy has, yet he still demands that everybody feel sorry for him as he complains and complains? It's taken me forever to admit that I have some serious problems with mental illness because I'm afraid that it will be perceived as looking for a crutch in life, and now this douche bag is trying to use it as an excuse for his behaviour while blasting those that have problems but don't let them rule their lives? Fuck you man, fuck you. At least when I was told I was being a douchebag I had the good sense to feel guilty and ashamed for being a creepy idiot and managed to mostly get over that little facet of my screwed up mind. Have the sense to feel the same Macross and maybe you can start down the road to getting better.

Me, I'm getting a buddy to kick my ass into shape this summer. Maybe you should try the same... except of course for the fact that that is what we've been trying to do, so I doubt you'll get it.

Doesn't work. I gave him a rundown of my own issues, which include Asperger's and a few other things, and openly invited him to tell me about everything I was doing wrong, and he flat out ignored me.

I'm of the opinion that his obsessive-compulsive disorder is debilitating to the point that he literally cannot focus on more than one thing at a time. He can't focus on anything but Nitram in terms of confrontation, he can't focus on anything but his two-year stalker-crush. It's apparently either all or nothing from him. I doubt he reads anything but Nitram's replies anymore, I seriously wonder if he can even see them.
