I come before you again not to incite you to war against EAS, for on that matter the Mods have spoken. Instead, I come to speak of the malaise that has befallen this board, which I had hoped a mighty war would dispell.

Can any deny it? I ask you, who now are our enemies? The demented DarkStar has been vanquished and banished. He now sits alone on his own website, blathering insanely on the supposed cruelties of our Lord Wong from behind the Wall of Ignorance that has become his prison. The vocal idiot minority known as the Spacebattles Babies are but a memory, having long since been tracked down and crushed by our Lord in a series of one-on-one combats. The resurgence of TOWNMNBS was but a fraud, and it is well near impossible to find a single informed Trekkie who denies the superiority of the Empire.

So with that I ask you, what now do we do? Victory is defeat when battle is your goal.

I can't understand the misplaced nationalism of some of the bucks of message boards, who prefer the follow the solid regulars of the board and urge them on to battle, so they can sit in the wake of victory and talk about how good it is to be on the winning team.

I can actually see what they're doing. It is fun to see someone get crushed in debate, but I would just take the person on myself, rather than goading someone else into doing it. If you are actually pissed off about what happened, then challenge someone who you think is responsible. This goes for people on both sides of the dispute in question.
