I have a HP Photosmart Mz67. I am often fustrated by its inability to use focus and that I cannot use manual focus. This can be very frustrating, as there is a brief moment when the zoom is perfect but the stupid camera's software doesn't realize that. This usually happens when the camera is in super close up mode, and the object I am photographic is pretty much in the mentioned range.
Can I change how the camera works? Or am I stuck with this?

Can't find it. There are several shooting modes from which I can choose from. But all of them are more restrictive in how (or more specifically, whether) I can take pictures rather then helpful. Are you sure there isn't a manual focus option somewhere in the menu?
