Grim eyed Havelock carefully, an anger burning behind his eyes to match the fury the priest was using. "You come from parts unknown and want to stay in my care. I asked you to do something to prove that you are worthy of my trust. That makes you my subordinate, not equal. What I have known or not is no business of yours! Do you ask the Emperor what horrors he has seen when he asks you to strike them down? Do you question why he sends you, and not another? You are but a gun, ready to fire, a blade, ready to cut. You were looking for a hand to guide you to a target, a holster to keep you safe. Know your place in this, preacher!" His lips lifted back into a snarl. "Now put your stolen goods down, we'll sort that in the morning. I've cleared out a place for your lot to sleep, unless you'd prefer another holster?"

"A tech-priest? Here I thought you had a fancy servitor! It's good to know he's got such a devout little aspirant to the Adeptus Mechanica! Fine then, all of you leave what you've stolen here and these two will tend to them while the rest of you sleep. Maybe then your tech-priest can tend to the rest of our gear, make sure it's all up to his standards!" His eyes burned at Quintos with a deadly edge. The other gangers nearby tensed up, their hands getting much closer to their guns.

Grim continued to glare at Quintos. "Oh, you'll start with your own gear, all right. Then you'll move to the gear you've looted. If you're still standing at that point, then we'll see about the rest," He turned to the rest of the nearby acolytes. "Go on then, you can all leave your weapons with these two, and when they're done, they can bring them back to you. Diver, you can watch these two, I'll show the rest to their beds, once they're done filling up the pile."
Emphasis mine.

Meanwhile, the rest of the team was led to what could only generously be called a shack. Made up of ramshackle portions of scrap metal welded together in a most precarious way, there were bunks with tatters of rags on them. The guard barracks they had been in previously, while spartan, were clearly much more comfortable than what was available down here.
The GM has already been quite clear. You are only going to the shack if you surrender your (visible) weapons. Otherwise its confrontation with the gangers time.

I am here, and ready for action. Haven't posted anything just now, as there isn't really much for my character to do until the gangers find me .

IO is correct. The people who acquiesce get to go on to sleep time.

Meanwhile, down below, something else is happening.

So, ummm... what exactly is happening? I think at this point a few people are just waiting for the GM to move the story forward a bit.

Well, the other people back at the grimloch base need to figure out who's taking first watch.

The people at the Grimloch base do need to come to a consensus as to what they're doing. I don't care what it is, but I can't in good faith continue with that sequence until everyone up there chimes in with what they're doing. If I advance time for one group before the second group tells me what they're doing, I have to go back and retcon things appropriately.

If I don't get everyone chiming in either here or the game thread, I will move time forward and auto the character's actions.

I apologize to the group in the tunnels, I will move you ahead appropriately.

Right now I believe Octavius (say believe because I can't speak for Vehrec) and Gelt are trading shifts in the sniper nook. Since we're maintaining radio silence the other part of the team I can't be sure as to what they're going to do.

I am the hammer, I am the right hand of my Lord. The instrument of His will and the gauntlet about His fist. The tip of His spear, the edge of His sword. I am His wrath just as he is my shield. I am the bane of His foes and the woe of the treacherous. I am the end.

Well, back at the Grimloch base, so far everyone has dropped off their guns, gone to the shack, and checked it out. Quintos and Nixios are working on the guns. Camillia and Cyrine have claimed second shift watch, and nobody has claimed first or third shift yet.

Verum is seriously injured, so we'll be one short for one of the shifts. Probably third, since Quintos and Nixios should be done by then.

Zak will take first watch if there's no objections? Although he's probably not very good at it. Though I think I have light sleeper anyway.

I sent a PM to DPDP and Sylasgaunt a while back, asking them to post in the game thread. They apparently haven't read them, since the messages are still sitting in my outbox, but both are active and posting elsewhere.

Please come post?

I had Xerxes hand over his weapons except for his laspistol a while ago. I was kind of expecting a reaction of some sort as to whether or not he'd be allowed to take a rest, but it must have gotten missed in the other posts.

I think it's pretty safe to say that yes, you can take a rest, unless you'd like to volunteer for first watch.

Shit sorry about that. I hardly ever notice the damn PM notification.

In related news I should be getting the inquisitor's handbooks soon, huzzah!

EDIT: Volunteered Havelock for the first watch.
