Hey Stas your memorial has quite a few names on it somewhat more than 113. Are most of them placeholders or did you rent the extra space out?

Sure, the Ecumenical Patriarch could pay a visit to Red Technocracy and officially consecrate the Byzantine Church. I'll fly him in on one of our official transports then.

**Reads StasBush sumamry*

Ah... good times, Considering its been almost a month since this "Mother of All RAR's" started, im surprised al lthe players have shown restraint thus far. Considering how active it is, its amazing this didn't happen earlier.

So you tested a nuke too Stas? hmmm, Im going to be working with Shroomy soon on trying to shunt a "No Nuke" thingy into the dipolomatic circles. Nuclear enegry is fine, but given how crowded our nations are, as in, so close to one another, allowing nukes is askign for toruble.

Read carefully. ;) The Memorial commemorates all dead irrespective of where they are buried. Which is around two thousands out of our 100,000 contingent.

The Grave, on the other hand, which is situated under the Unknown Soldier, is a grave for those who could not have been identified, or have no relatives left to order the burial anywhere in the RT cities.

My bomber dropped Shep's nuke. Since that's actually the OMSK nuke. Shep is our nuclear bomb/payload supplier and the producer of Nuclear Weapons for the OMSK.

Lonestar and the MESS started their program earlier than we did. So if anything, we were forced to do it. And we actually shed a lot of public information on procuring weapon stoff from RMBK reactors.

We did successfully ban biological weapons (and if someone does it, he's in a heap load of trouble).

Very good. You probably know of the recent Reunion between Russian and Foreign Orthodox Churches, this ceremony might be similar and you can use stock photos from that event ;)

Lots of good photos :)

You can also use the photos where Putin is present! I took him as a minor Red Technocracy official ;D but so far he's been promoted to Major ;)

P.S. if you use Alexiy (on the right) as the Ecumenical Patriarch:

we could RP him later in the game, Alexiy has been to alot of places and there are all kinds of photos with him :)

Whoa, Shroom. Awesome speech!

I don't have much time for this thing today, but I'll be making an announcement tomorrow.

And, Stas, I have a plan of my own too to discuss :D

EDIT: is there any current ruling on weather patterens and trade winds for "NewEarth" ? Im thinking of starting an internation Zepplin Airlibnes and want to know what thje winds are like around ur nations since Zep's are esepecially moody when it comes to storms and big winds.

Stas Bush wrote:Crossroads, our side of the story (if you meant the crisis) is pretty simple.

Lonestar did nuclear testing which slipped through the world's attention meter. Our nuclear test caused indignation.

The RT ran some drones over Lonestar's territory to confirm the number of blasts since our Landsats offer resolution only up to 60 m and Beowulf was insinuating we were wrong in the number of tests.
Wrong! You claimed to know the exact number of devices that had been produced, which you could not possibly know without conducting a much more detailed intelligence attempt than "We looked at the ground and saw three craters".
Utlimately Beowulf then claimed that a drone of mine fell on Hokkaido in Tian Xia and killed 10 people.

Since the drone did not pass over Beowulf, but headed for Lone Star, and it had some 1500 more KM range to fly, I assumed that Beowulf downed the drone, and either the dead are the military team who went to pick it up but it exploded as they came near and started to put out the fire, or real civilians, but in any case, Beowulf downed the drone on his own nation's heads. Or they just don't exist.

You declare that not only do you have nukes, but are on your third generation. You then proceed to launch high speed missiles at, amongst other nations, me. Anyone with half a brain can look at a map and see that your drones would pass over my territory if they cover any part of the southern third or so of the Lonestar Republic.
Beo and Lonestar then claimed that they were fluffy bunnies and never agressive, and that we don't have the intelligence to state anything.

Now I have no diplomatic ties with either.
We're not claiming we were never aggressive, but rather we've been much less aggressive (you've got what, announced MESS military exercises, and me launching a booster over Shep?), and not aggressive at all as of late. Additionally, you've been using information you could not possibly have had in your announcements, because you haven't actually tried to get that information. Such information as: the number of nuclear weapons LSR has produced, and that I'm producing methods to deliver those nuclear weapons.

Of course I'm acquiring nukes from the LSR. I announced exactly that after you detonated your nuke. Until we were sure about your nuclear intentions, there was no reason to make public our intentions, because in doing so, we change the geopolitical balance. If we don't, then everyone can pretend that they don't exist, and everything stays the same.

Well, I don't mind my local embassy, to be honest, with the new FUN alliance, I get more tourists, to fund my industries, even though the fact of nukes hitting Tia Xia annoys me..

Fate-Chan's dead... WHY! Curse you war! Curse you!

I propose a common FUN currency as well though. Let's call it the FUME, the Fun Universal Money Equivalent! That way, we can have a base, and not be stuck with the ROB, or the Red Credit.

Our winds blow to the south-west, from our streams, to the airport, which is Zeppelin Capable (my next IC post will go on with this.)

Sure, there's Plenty of them Anarchists...

Edit someone actually figured out that I mostly use Hydrogen gas for my Zepplins, even though Helium is safer. Yeah I pointed out that the nuclear powered super Zepplins get main gas as a byproduct of the reactor. when it comes time to land, they fill in a percentage of Carbon Dioxide, for safety and to begin descent. I also pointed out that my Zepplins aren't true Blimps, as they have a solid frame work and a double hulled aluminum alloy skin. (basically unlike the hindenburg they can't be taken out by a mere lightning bolt. Still a missile will fuck things up.) Also the design incorperates multipal "Cells" for the lift tanks to keep the dangers of catastrophic deflation under control.

I'll repeat the point, the Drones carry enough fuel to overfly the Lonestar Republic two times easy and double back to the Red Technomancy, the chance of it running out of fuel and crash landing is ni-impossible, unless you want to say he sent the drones on four or five trips trips in which case they would have run out of fuel sometime in that fifth run.

If he only order three flybys of the country from each drone he could have had them crash in the ocean easily.

To that point look at the following graphic, here are four example flight plans in various colors. Each bar is 500 miles long .

Image

The chance of said drone running out of fuel and landing in your country is nigh-impossible as I said many times until now. It being shot down, highly possible, it running out of fuel, very unlikely.

Right, now consider the fact that at cruise speed, the SR-71 has a turn radius on the order of 100 miles. Sure, his drones fly a bit lower and slower, but that still results in a very large turn radius. Additionally, there's drift inherent in inertial navigation systems, but that can be cancelled through other methods, and as such, doesn't bear much thought.

It's interesting to note that none of those trajectories actually end in the eastern ocean. I've also never actually said in game that it ran out of fuel. Merely that it "landed".

Beowulf, still you shot the drone down, there's no way it could've just fell on it's own after traversing 1000 kms when it's range is double that.

But for those curious, I can plot the approximate trajectories:
Image
Note that the only drone which I was uneasy about is the one which overflew central Lone Star regions, and was ordered to terminate before Wilkonia.
It is distinctly possible the drone did not terminate and either overflew Wilkonia (as a reactive hulk) or crashed there. I even said as much that Wilkonia's airspace could've been violated but - Wilkens had not voiced such concerns, and I terminated the drones before his territory because I know he demilitarizes his massive navy and makes a true effort for peace.

This means that all drones terminated correctly, except the one you shot down on your head.

Also note, while generally trying to keep within the frameworks and not cheat too much. we have a number of polymeres and alloys that can nearly do what I'm suggesting. Teflon is said to be nearly frictionless, and is used as a coating on re-entry tiles for it's heat disapation/atmospheric friction reduction factors.

The titanium or aluminum skeleton is actually used in modern "Blimps" however, since they have a skeleton, they aren't Blimps anymore, they're "Aridgeds" but no one's going to call them that. As the National weather service, and good year currently use aluminum for their skins, and their skeletons it looked like a good idea/starting place.

I'm generally orienting towards high-speed jet craft and universal spaceships (the Tu-2000 scramjet being the most recent project), but I also have some heavy lifters produced (An-225, An-124, An-22, Il-76MF), both jet and turboprop.

Well jets are nice for people who REALLY need to get somewhere fast, but I htink StasBush estimated the whole size of our "World right now, covered an area around the size of Aferica. That means for most travel, even going by Airship, yo ucan get to places relativly quickly..

Also Airships would need less fuel, are safer, and of course, unlike Jets, if the engines explode you WONT be condeemed to certain doom

That and, come on, I mean, wouldn't YOU rather travel in a plush, Luxurious flaoting hotel then theSardine spaces of most passanger jets?

LTA travel is on the march!

Actually the world is two times smaller than Africa.

So yes, airship traffic might be well, especially if you mean heavy cargo airships.

The drone which went up could've passed over Midland, if it's located in the same place as Midland, TX. The one that went for center could too.

If not, I'm not too dissappointed about it.

At least, formally or not, you now publicize your nuclear tests. I don't even care if you sign a Memorandum to publicize them or not, as long as you do publicize.
